In the southeast of the Noah Continent, there is a forgotten land known to scholars as the "Ancient Battlefield." It holds the remnants of the first war of the gods, and as millennia have passed, people's memories of that war have gradually faded. 0

Mentor Alex leads Sophia, Morris, and a group of new students through the stone arches. These arches are ancient and mysterious, as if guarding ancient secrets. 0

They eventually stopped at the site of an ancient magic circle ruins. 0

Alex's fingers slowly moved over the intricate and complex spells at the base of the stone altar, whispering, "Thousands of years ago, this was the stage for the battle between The Goddess of Light, Su Lea and The Dark God Othus." 0

Morris's deep blue eyes seem to be drawn to those spells, as if they can see unspeakable secrets through them. 0

In contrast, Sophia gazes into the distant sky with her eyes as black as the night, her heart filled with contemplation of the former glory and beauty of this land. 0

"Remember, this is the most important lesson before learning magic. You will awaken your own power here and discover more indescribable secrets," Alex said with a calm and solemn voice. 0

Passing through the golden light curtain, Sophia was met with a cold wind and unease. Her black eyes scanned the scattered ancient weapons and tattered flags around her, and she suddenly felt a shiver. A clear image appeared in her mind: a goddess and a dark deity standing on either side of the ruins, exchanging something with their eyes. At that moment, a beam of light shot out from the center of the ruins, piercing through the chaos and heading straight for Sophia. 0

"It seems that there is some power summoning me here," Sophia couldn't help but feel surprised. 0

Unlike Sophia, Morris discovered something unusual in a secluded corner of the ancient battlefield. His blue eyes instantly caught sight of an ancient magic circle covered in thick dust. On the magic circle, there was a verse written in ancient script. 0

"The chosen one by destiny will awaken here," Morris softly recited the verse in his heart. 0

Suddenly, he felt a surge of power entering his body, a power that transcended himself and was also an extremely dangerous force. 0

"Sophia, have you noticed that something is not right here?" Morris urgently found Sophia, his blue eyes revealing deep concern. 0

"Of course, I feel a kind of power, as if something is calling me." Sophia replied with a smile, but there was a hint of unease in her smile. 0

Next to her were two senior female students and a male senior student. 0

Eira, a senior female student skilled in dark magic, and Logan, a male student, a future knight. Logan pulled out an old longsword stuck in the ground and felt a surge of heat coming from the sword. 0

"This sword... is a little different," Logan's voice was full of curiosity. 0

Eira discovered a black stone stele covered with runes. She carefully touched it and instantly felt a chill enveloping her whole body. 0

"The power here is more complex than I imagined. I sense a thought of resistance against the light," Eira's eyes grew colder. 0

Alex suddenly walked over and said seriously, "Both of you, there are some things you need to know about this place. This ancient battlefield is not only a training ground, but also a convergence point of energy. The power of the gods intertwines here, influencing the fate of the entire continent. Not everyone can feel this power." 0

The surrounding students also heard Alex's words, but most of them looked confused and puzzled. Only a female student named Eira and a male student named Logan seemed to understand everything. 0

"What should we do?" Sophia asked, a hint of unease flashing in her eyes. 0

"Follow the call of your heart, explore the secrets here, but proceed with caution. Power is always two-sided, it can make you strong, but it can also lead you to the abyss," Alex subtly smiled and then walked away. 0

Sophia and Morris locked eyes, then decided to split up. Sophia headed towards the ruins of the two deities, while Morris continued to investigate the ancient magic circle. 0

Standing in the center of the ruins, Sophia suddenly felt an impulse and without hesitation, placed her hand on the beam of light. Instantly, a strong power flowed into her body, and she felt her eight major elemental magics strengthen all at once. 0

At the same time, Morris successfully deciphered the ancient poem on the magic circle, and a new power surged into his body. Suddenly, he understood that this magic circle was a key that would guide him towards an unknown future. 0

When the two met again, they both felt the changes in each other. 0

"It seems we all gained something from this trip," Morris said with a smile. 0

At this critical moment, Fio, Lina, and Brit also walked in. 0

"Wow, this place is full of history and mystery!" Fio looked around at the ancient ruins, her eyes sparkling. 0

"Yeah, it feels like touching the edge of time," Lina said as she gently blew the dust off an ancient weapon using wind magic. 0

Brit is even more cautious, manipulating the air with his control over lightning magic to form a detection network. "I don't like this uncertainty. It's best to stay alert." 0

Sophia smiles at them, "You guys are always so cheerful and energetic. But I agree with Brit, I also feel that something is not quite right here." 0

Morris walked up to everyone and said with a deep look in his eyes, "You all feel it too, right? This ancient battlefield, it's like a huge energy pool, constantly absorbing and releasing some mysterious power." 0

Fio laughed and half-jokingly said, "Haha, should we go look for the 'outlet' of this energy pool?" 0

As usual, no one responded to Fio's cold jokes. 0

But at this moment, the ground suddenly trembled slightly, and a crack extended from the ancient magic circle underground, instantly alerting everyone. 0
