The morning sunlight streamed through the windows of the high-rise building, illuminating the office filled with documents and computers. Bai Huaiyu had arrived at the company early; she sat at her desk, her brow slightly furrowed as she stared at the computer screen. A hint of confusion crossed her face, as if she was facing some kind of dilemma.
At that moment, Li Mingxia quietly walked into the office, holding a cup of hot coffee while glancing down at his phone. He was dressed in casual jeans and a T-shirt, exuding a cheerful demeanor. Noticing Bai Huaiyu's expression, he approached her and asked, half-jokingly and half-seriously, "What's wrong, Xiaobai? You look like you've encountered the biggest problem in the world."
Li Mingxia is a rising comic artist who has quickly gained recognition in the industry for his unique creative style and keen market insight. He has a handsome appearance and always maintains a polished look. Li Mingxia is confident and has a sense of humor, enjoying casual conversations with others and showing great passion for his work. He is good friends with Bai Huaiyu, often helping and supporting each other in their professional endeavors.
Bai Huaiyu looked up at Li Mingxia and forced a smile, saying, "Hey, how did you know? I really am facing a tricky problem." There was a hint of helplessness in her voice.
Li Mingxia raised an eyebrow and walked over to sit in the chair opposite her. Sipping her coffee, she curiously asked, "What’s the problem? Tell me about it; maybe I can help."
Bai Huaiyu briefly explained the issue. After listening, Li Mingxia pondered for a moment and then said, "Actually, this problem isn't difficult to solve. You could try it this way..." She began to explain in detail.

Li Mingxia's lips curled into a brilliant smile. "Of course! Did you forget who I am? I am the genius manga artist, Li Mingxia." His tone revealed a hint of arrogance, but his eyes were filled with friendliness and concern.
Bai Huaiyu couldn't help but smile; she suddenly felt much more relaxed. She realized that even with the disagreements with Jiang NanJin, there were still many trustworthy people in her life, like her good friend Li Mingxia.
In the afternoon, Li Mingxia invited Bai Huaiyu to have lunch together. The two walked along the bustling street, surrounded by tall buildings and a continuous flow of people. Bai Huaiyu wore a light dress that swayed gently with her steps, making her look particularly lively and adorable. Li Mingxia brought Bai Huaiyu to a cozy little café, where the decor was simple yet warm, and interesting pieces of art adorned the walls.
They sat by the window, enjoying a clear view of the scenery outside. Bai Huaiyu ordered a latte and a piece of cake, while Li Mingxia opted for a black coffee. The two chatted as they ate, discussing amusing stories from work and the little joys of life.
"Do you know that once I almost submitted a draft to a client, only to realize I had drawn the wrong character!" Li Mingxia laughed as she recounted her amusing experience.
Bai Huaiyu couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Haha, that's really funny! How did you solve it later?"
Li Mingxia raised an eyebrow with a teasing expression, "Of course, I pulled an all-nighter and redid it! I almost turned into a panda from staying up late."
Bai Huaiyu's laughter was crisp and joyful, her eyes crescent-shaped, making the surrounding air seem to lighten up. She took a sip of her latte and said, "You are truly talented; you can resolve difficulties so quickly."
Li Mingxia smiled slightly, "Actually, I have many times when things don't go smoothly for me, but when I encounter problems, I always think of your optimistic attitude and remind myself that everything will be fine."
Bai Huaiyu smiled shyly, feeling a bit embarrassed as he said, "Oh dear, saying that makes me feel a little shy."
The two enjoyed the afternoon in a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere, sharing little stories and happy moments from their lives. Bai Huaiyu felt very happy to have such a talented and humorous friend by his side.
After lunch, Li Mingxia suggested going for a walk. They left the café together, strolling through the city streets, weaving between the towering buildings and enjoying the unique charm of the city. The streets were bustling with people and traffic, but amidst the noise, the two found a sense of tranquility.
Li Mingxia appeared somewhat reserved, but when he was with Bai Huaiyu, a softness shone in his eyes. As they walked, they discussed their dreams and plans.
"I want to open my own comic studio one day," Li Mingxia said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Bai Huaiyu listened, his eyes also filled with brilliance. "I believe you can definitely do it; you have the talent."
They continued walking, occasionally stopping to admire street performances or the small vendors along the way. Bai Huaiyu showed great interest in every little thing, her eyes curiously scanning the surroundings, and she would gently tug at Li Mingxia's arm from time to time, pointing at something interesting.
As they walked, they arrived at a small park. The park was shaded by lush trees, and the fragrance of flowers filled the air. Li Mingxia and Bai Huaiyu sat on a bench, watching the children joyfully playing in the playground ahead.
Li Mingxia suddenly said, "Sometimes I feel like we are all just children in an amusement park, always searching for our direction." There was a hint of philosophy in his tone.
Bai Huaiyu turned to look at him and replied with a smile, "Maybe. But I believe that as long as we have friends by our side, we won't feel lonely no matter where we go."
Li Mingxia looked into Bai Huaiyu's eyes, a hint of contemplation flashing across her own, and then softly said, "I am very happy to be your friend."

As the sky darkened, the two of them left the park together and walked home. Under the streetlights, their shadows elongated and intertwined. Bai Huaiyu felt a surge of gratitude; she understood that having a friend like Li Mingxia in this bustling city was her most precious treasure.
Li Mingxia accompanied Bai Huaiyu to her apartment door and said, "If you ever have any problems in the future, feel free to reach out to me." His voice carried a hint of concern.
Bai Huaiyu smiled and nodded, "Of course, thank you, Li Mingxia."
Li Mingxia turned to leave, and Bai Huaiyu stood at the door, watching his figure gradually fade away. Despite the ups and downs and challenges of life, having a friend like Li Mingxia made her feel an immense sense of comfort and strength.
Bai Huaiyu gently closed the door and returned to her cozy little apartment. She changed into comfortable loungewear and walked to the window, gazing at the dazzling city nightscape outside. The lights of the tall buildings twinkled like stars, and the sounds of bustling traffic echoed from afar, filling the city's night with endless vitality.
Taking a deep breath, Bai Huaiyu felt a sense of calm and stability wash over her. Even though she sometimes felt lost and uneasy, she knew that as long as she persevered, there would always be a way to solve her problems. She recalled Li Mingxia's lazy yet sharp-tongued demeanor and the joyful moments they shared together, causing a smile to unconsciously spread across her lips.
She turned and walked to the desk, opened her laptop, and began to tackle some unfinished work. Her fingertips danced across the keyboard, her gaze focused and determined. She wanted to transform the inspiration and positive energy she had gained today into motivation and creativity for her work.
Late at night, Bai Huaiyu finally completed all her tasks, feeling a sense of satisfaction and fatigue. She closed her laptop, stood up, stretched lazily, and decided to head to the kitchen to brew a cup of hot tea, savoring the tranquility of the late-night hours.
She sat at the dining table, holding a warm cup of tea, quietly reflecting on her life and future. The fragrance of the tea was subtle, much like her current mood—calm and content.
Suddenly, Bai Huaiyu's phone rang. She picked it up and saw a message from Jiang NanJin. Her heart involuntarily quickened, but she took a deep breath and calmly opened the message.
In the message, Jiang NanJin wrote: "Good evening, Bai Huaiyu. I know there have been some misunderstandings between us, and I would like to find a time to talk and clear them up."
Bai Huaiyu felt a mix of complex emotions, both anticipation and a bit of nervousness. After thinking for a moment, she replied, "Sure, let's find a time to talk."
After sending the message, Bai Huaiyu felt a weight lift slightly from her heart. Regardless of the outcome of their communication, at least she and Jiang NanJin had the opportunity to explain and understand each other.
She put down her phone and gazed out at the night scenery once more. The journey of life is always full of changes, but she believed that as long as she had the support of friends and remained steadfast in her beliefs, she would surely find a way forward. As the night grew late, Bai Huaiyu got up to turn off the lights and walked toward her bedroom. She lay down on the bed and closed her eyes. In the tranquility of the night, she gradually drifted off to sleep.
Meanwhile, Jiang NanJin sat in his studio, gazing out at the night sky. His communication with Bai Huaiyu would mark a new beginning. There might be difficulties, and there might be surprises, but regardless, he was ready to face it all.
