Ah Lin and Ah Yin

The female protagonist of the story is named Ah Yin and the male protagonist is named Ah Lin. They are both from the same hometown. Ah Yin was born into poverty but through her own efforts, she became a salesperson at a large state-owned enterprise in a provincial capital. Ah Lin comes from a middle-class family and works in the administrative office of a branch of the state-owned enterprise where Ah Yin works. Until 2008, they had almost no interaction.
In a certain month in 2008, all the system administrators of various branch organizations joined a group chat for a new system. One day, Ah Yin mistakenly thought Ah Lin was a system administrator and asked him a question about the system.
