My heart jolted; this phrase felt like a guiding light in the darkness, illuminating my gloomy spirit. Revenge is not wrong, but the key lies in knowing how far to go. I cannot harm the innocent. My target is only Hotel Room, to ensure he receives his due punishment, not to vent my anger. It is about punishing Hotel Room, not dragging innocent people into it.
With this realization, I felt a sense of clarity wash over me. In the days that followed, I remained in my room, not stepping outside even once. I kept pondering how to face Hotel Room's retaliation. Hotel Room was not someone who would easily give up; I had to prepare thoroughly for his revenge.
I sought out Li Wei and consulted him carefully about the relevant legal procedures, formulating a detailed strategy. This lawsuit would be long and arduous; I could not afford to be careless.
"Wanwan, you need to be mentally prepared; Hotel Room's legal team will not concede easily," Li Wei said. "They will surely try every possible means to overturn your evidence; this lawsuit will be a tough battle."
"I understand," I nodded. "So we absolutely cannot let our guard down."

"I understand." I nodded again, already having a plan in mind. After analyzing the case with Li Wei and determining the basic strategy, I left the law firm.
In the following days, I waited for news about the court accepting my case.
On that day, I received a call from my lawyer. "Miss Su, the court has accepted your case, and it is expected to go to trial next month."
"Okay, I understand," I replied. After hanging up the phone, a faint smile appeared on my face. The legal team from Hotel Room must have been busy during this time. This meant that Hotel Room had started to take this case seriously.
This was what I wanted to see. What I needed was for Hotel Room to pay attention. Only when they took it seriously would they feel pressure and pain. And all of this was well-deserved.
I quietly waited for Hotel Room's reaction. Sure enough, that afternoon, a call from Hotel Room came in. Looking at the number flashing on the screen, a mocking smile crept onto my lips. I slowly answered the phone.
"Is there something you need?"
"Wanwan." The voice from Hotel Room sounded as gentle as ever.
"Just get straight to the point," I said calmly.
"When did we become so estranged?" Hotel Room sighed.
"Wanwan, how did we end up like this?"
"You know what you did," I said coldly.
"Wanwan, do you really have to speak to me like this?" There was a hint of hurt in the tone from the hotel room.
"What do you think?" I retorted.
