Chen Hao slowly leaned in.
Fang Hui felt her heart race and instinctively closed her eyes.
Soft, warm lips pressed against hers.
Fang Hui felt a dizzying sensation, as if the world was spinning around her.
This was her first kiss with a boy.
It was a feeling she had never experienced before.
All she could feel was a buzzing in her head, unable to think of anything else.
At that moment, Fang Hui felt a sharp pain in her arm.
She opened her eyes and saw a large hand gripping her arm, pulling her away from Chen Hao.
She turned her head and met Li Chaowen's furious, red eyes.
That night, he had called her and said things that made her uncomfortable.
She didn't understand why he thought she would give up her feelings for him.
She had spent ten years liking him, but he never cherished it.
Now that she was with someone else, he came back to entangle her again.
After watching the movie, while walking back to the dorm with Chen Hao, she stumbled and almost fell because she felt uneasy inside.
Fortunately, Chen Hao caught her just in time.
She looked up and met Chen Hao's concerned gaze.
She smiled slightly and said, "I'm fine."
Chen Hao still crouched down to check her ankle.
He examined it carefully and noticed it was a bit red, so he gently massaged it.
His fingers were long and applied just the right amount of pressure; it felt very nice.
Fang Hui watched him, suddenly feeling a strange sensation in her heart.
She bit her lip and softly said, "Chen Hao."
"Yes?" Chen Hao looked up at her.
Fang Hui swallowed hard and whispered, "Thank you."
Chen Hao smiled and replied, "Why are you being so polite with me?"
He slowly leaned closer to her.
Fang Hui looked at him, her heart racing even faster.
She instinctively closed her eyes.
The next moment, warm lips pressed against hers.
Fang Hui froze, completely stunned. Her mind went blank, unable to think of anything.
On the way back, Chen Hao carried Fang Hui on his back and suddenly spoke, "Xiao Jing, why don't you move in with me for a while?"
Fang Hui was taken aback. "Why?"
"It's convenient for me to take care of you," Chen Hao replied with a smile. "You hurt your foot and can't move around easily. I happen to have a wheelchair that can help you get around the house."
Fang Hui hesitated. "Isn't that a bit inappropriate...?"
"What's inappropriate about it?" Chen Hao laughed. "You're my girlfriend; it's only natural for me to take care of you."
After thinking it over, Fang Hui finally agreed.
Chen Hao's rented apartment was a two-bedroom unit; although not large, it was decorated very warmly.
After moving in, Fang Hui enjoyed a princess-like treatment every day. Chen Hao would prepare delicious meals for her in various ways and would push her downstairs for walks.
After half a month, Fang Hui had gained five pounds.
That night, Chen Hao lay down in Fang Hui's room. He looked at the little woman in his arms and couldn't help but smile.
He had never imagined that one day he would be with Fang Hui. Even more surprising was that she had agreed to let him stay in her room.
He gazed at her fair cheeks, swallowed hard, and slowly leaned closer. Just as he was about to kiss her lips, a deafening thunderclap suddenly erupted outside.
Fang Hui jumped in surprise and opened her eyes wide.
Their eyes met, and Chen Hao's face turned red. He quickly retreated and awkwardly said, "Xiao Jing, I... I didn't mean to."
Fang Hui's cheeks flushed slightly as she whispered, "You should go back now."
"Okay." Chen Hao hurriedly got up, threw on some clothes haphazardly, and left.
Sitting on the bed, Fang Hui listened to the thunder outside and suddenly felt an unsettling sensation in her heart. She couldn't sleep anymore and decided to get up and go to the window.
Outside, heavy rain poured down; raindrops slid down the window like tears.
Fang Hui stared outside, feeling confused inside. Just then, there was a knock on the door.
She was taken aback for a moment before walking over to open the door. It was Chen Hao. He was wrapped in a towel, completely soaked, with water dripping from his hair. Fang Hui was stunned, "What are you doing..."
"I'm not going back," Chen Hao said as he walked into the room and closed the door. "The rain is too heavy, and I can't leave you alone."
Fang Hui felt a warmth in her heart, "I'm fine."
"No," Chen Hao shook his head, "I can't relax."
Fang Hui looked at him, feeling sweet inside. Chen Hao also gazed at her, his eyes gentle as water. Fang Hui felt shy under his gaze, her cheeks flushing.
Chen Hao's throat tightened as he moved closer to her. This time, he didn't hesitate and directly kissed her lips. Fang Hui closed her eyes and responded to him passionately.
A night of intimacy followed.
The next day, Fang Hui didn't get out of bed until noon. She had just finished washing up when Chen Hao pushed the door open and came in. He was wearing an apron and smiled warmly, "Xiao Jing, it's noon; you must be hungry?"
Fang Hui looked at the apron he was wearing and couldn't help but laugh, "Why are you dressed like that?"
"I'm going to cook," Chen Hao winked. "What do you want to eat today?"
Fang Hui thought for a moment, "I want fish noodles."
Chen Hao laughed, "Fish noodles aren't that good; I'll take you to a newly opened fish noodle chain."
Fang Hui replied, "……"
