After a song ended, it received thunderous applause from the audience. I joined in the clapping, and Shen Yulin walked straight towards me, boldly sitting down beside me. I instinctively leaned closer to Zhang Yun, trying to distance myself from Shen Yulin, but he continued to move closer as if nothing had happened.
"Move over a bit!" I said angrily to him. He seemed to ignore me, sipping his drink. Frustrated, I didn't want to pay attention to him. Shen Yulin glanced at me from the corner of his eye, a slight smirk on his lips.
At that moment, some classmates started to stir things up, playing Truth or Dare, and the atmosphere gradually became lively. Whenever it was my turn, I would try to choose light-hearted questions to answer, not wanting my emotions to show. However, when someone asked about relationships, I couldn't help but feel a wave of anxiety.
I tried to maintain a smile, but inside I was churning. I didn't know how to face those questions. Just when I was at a loss, Shen Yulin suddenly stood up, and all eyes turned to him.
"I heard Haifeng dances particularly well. Come on, show us!" Shen Yulin said mischievously, looking at Cheng Haifeng.
"Hey, you’re on!" Cheng Haifeng scratched his head.
"Come on! Come on! Come on..." The classmates cheered excitedly!
I looked gratefully at Shen Yulin and said softly, "Thank you."
"Fool," Shen Yulin said affectionately as he looked at me.
After sitting for a while, when Shen Yulin went to the bathroom, I gazed out the window lost in thought when Liao Jian approached and broke my reverie.
He was a cheerful and lively guy who always filled the classroom with laughter. He struck up several casual conversations with me that caught me off guard. Perhaps because I was in a bad mood, I didn’t feel like chatting much and only gave him brief responses.
"Fanxing, can I take you to the amusement park in a couple of days? I happen to have two tickets here. Want to go together?" Liao Jian said with a bright smile.
I agreed without hesitation; the amusement park always brought back joyful childhood memories for me.
As we chatted, Shen Yulin returned. He saw Liao Jian sitting close to me in his spot and us having a good time together; his expression darkened inexplicably. He walked up to us and stared directly at Liao Jian while I awkwardly looked at him; Liao Jian felt embarrassed and didn’t know whether to get up or not.
However, when I told Shen Yulin that I was going to the amusement park, his expression became complicated and even slightly angry. I tried to explain that it was just an outing with friends, but he seemed unwilling to accept it, revealing a hint of displeasure in his eyes.
I felt somewhat troubled; after all, I hadn’t done anything wrong—just going out with friends. But Shen Yulin's attitude made me uneasy; I didn’t understand why he was angry or how to explain it so he would understand.
Thinking of this, I immediately went to the bathroom looking for a quiet corner to calm down. However, just as I pushed open the bathroom door, I felt someone suddenly push me inside.
I instinctively turned around trying to break free but soon realized it was Shen Yulin. His eyes held a desire I'd never seen before, making me feel hesitant and uneasy.
"Xingxing, I want to kiss you." Then he pressed me against the wall without hesitation and pressed his lips tightly against mine. A surge of intense emotion flooded my heart as I felt my heartbeat echoing in my ears.
