As soon as I heard "Private Customization," I thought the price would be steep, and I wanted to back out. "Isn't this quite expensive? I can't afford it for just one interview. Let's check out other stores instead."
Zhang Yun grabbed my hand, as if afraid I would slip away, and said, "I've already made arrangements; we can go in right away. Don't worry, it won't be expensive!" I looked at Wen Ting and Shi Qing; both were also curious about this store and refused to leave, so I had to abandon the idea of leaving.
Before long, a girl dressed in a light green traditional Chinese-style dress with her hair pinned up came out of the store. "Excuse me, who is Miss Zhang Yun?"
"I am," Zhang Yun quickly replied.
"Hello, Miss Zhang Yun. My name is Kris, the head designer at Twilight. I was instructed over the phone to have you four come in."
Kris slightly turned to the side and gestured with her left hand, inviting us in. Zhang Yun nodded and led us inside.
Once we entered the store, the four of us were astonished and couldn't help but exclaim: Private Customization is truly amazing!
The entire wall of the store was designed as open storage cabinets from ceiling to floor, filled with various fabrics and materials. To our left, several embroiderers were gathered around a large round table making garments, while to our right stood numerous mannequins. A few girls were dressing the mannequins in finished clothing, then covering them with black dust covers and labeling them.
Kris led us to an irregularly shaped tea table. After we sat down, she slowly poured tea leaves into a teapot, gently swirled it around, lifted the kettle, and slowly poured hot water into the teapot. The stream flowed like silk, releasing the fragrance of the tea. She then got up to retrieve tea cups and placed them in front of us four before pouring tea from the pot into each cup. She raised her hand with a smile, inviting us to taste it. I picked up my cup and took a sip; it was sweet with no bitterness.
"I didn't expect Miss Kris to be not only beautiful but also skilled in tea ceremony; this black tea is brewed quite well," I couldn't help but praise.
Hearing my compliment, Kris's smile deepened: "Thank you for your kind words, Miss Fanxing; it's my honor that you like it." Upon hearing this, I was taken aback—how did she know my name?
"How did you know my name, Miss Kris?"
"Earlier, it was mentioned that Miss Zhang Yun, Miss Fanxing Yue, Miss Lan Wenting, and Miss Xu Shiqing were waiting at the entrance so that we could provide you with the best service."
"Besides Zhang Yun, how did you guess our names?"
"Intuition." Kris looked at me with a half-smile. "Let me take a guess; among you four, it should be Miss Fanxing who wants to have clothes made?"
We exchanged glances; Kris's intuition was sharp—how could she guess that?
"Kris, Xingxing has an interview this afternoon and needs a suitable outfit," Zhang Yun couldn't help but interject.
"Alright, Miss Fanxing, please follow me. The other three ladies can enjoy their tea here." With that, Kris stood up and led me through an invisible door beside the tea table. Wow! I couldn't help but marvel internally; I thought the store's environment was impressive enough already, but there was more inside. This room was even larger than the shop outside. It had a nearly 10-meter-long clothing rack with hundreds of finished garments hanging on it. As I approached and casually flipped through them, each piece had a tag indicating its creation date, style, target audience, and number.
"Miss Fanxing, I have eight outfits suitable for your interview attire here. Please sit for a moment while you try them on one by one; whichever you like can be taken directly."
Did I hear that correctly? Take it directly? What kind of situation is this?
