Chen Minghao looked at me, a slight smile curling at the corners of his mouth. "Miss Ye, hello."
"Did you hear everything just now?" Chen Minghao asked.
My heart skipped a beat, but I maintained a calm facade. "Yes."
Chen Minghao raised an eyebrow. "Aren't you afraid of me?"
I chuckled softly. "Afraid of what? You wouldn't hurt me."
Chen Minghao narrowed his eyes. "How do you know I wouldn't hurt you?"
I shrugged. "I don't know; I'm just guessing."
Chen Minghao fell silent for a moment before laughing. "You're very clever."
I smiled back. "Thank you for the compliment."
Chen Minghao looked at me, his gaze deep. "Do you know who I am?"
I nodded. "You are Chen Minghao, the Chief Financial Officer of Han Group."
"What else do you know?" Chen Minghao asked again.
I shook my head. "That's all I know."
Chen Minghao smiled again. "If you want to learn more about me, you can come find me."
With that, he turned and left.
I watched his retreating figure, lost in thought. Who exactly is Chen Minghao? What does he want?
In the following days, I began to secretly investigate Chen Minghao's background, wanting to understand the connection between him and Han Qingtian.
I quickly found Chen Minghao's resume. It turned out that Chen Minghao and Han Qingtian were college classmates and even roommates.
