Seeing Cheng Haifeng like this, Meili felt quite bored and couldn't help but pout. After quickly finishing her breakfast, she twisted her body and returned to her room. As soon as she left her seat, the people present let out a collective sigh of relief.
"Mr. Shen, is that woman crazy?" Cheng Haifeng asked. "Maybe she's interested in you," Shen Yulin replied with a smile. "Puh!" Cheng Haifeng shot him an annoyed glare.
Zhang Yun looked at Cheng Haifeng and teased, "You're already this old, yet still so charming. That's impressive." "Are you looking down on your husband?" Cheng Haifeng lightly patted Zhang Yun's shoulder and said dismissively, "That kind of scheming woman would only lower my taste!"
"That's true," Zhang Yun nodded in agreement. "She's not even as good-looking as me and Xingxing!"
"Comparing my treasure to that kind of woman?" Shen Yulin retorted angrily, his eyes flashing with rage. He felt greatly insulted; how could his cherished possessions be compared to such a woman? "Have you been with him for so long that you've forgotten where your brain is?" His tone grew increasingly severe, tinged with reproach.
Seeing the atmosphere tense up, I quickly laughed to ease the situation: "Alright, everyone, don't be angry. It's just a small matter; why take it so seriously?" Then I turned to Zhang Yun and asked, "So when are we planning to set off?"
Zhang Yun thought for a moment and said, "Let's do it tomorrow. Today you can spend some more time with Mr. Shen while we take a nice long bath in our room to relax." With that, she stood up.
"Then it's settled! We'll set off together tomorrow!" I said excitedly. After finishing breakfast, the four of us got up from our seats and returned to our respective rooms. Shen Yulin and I began packing our things and decided to head out to a convenience store to buy supplies for the upcoming journey. Meanwhile, Zhang Yun and Cheng Haifeng took a bath that lasted over an hour. By the end, Zhang Yun was carried to bed by Cheng Haifeng, completely unconscious. The scene gradually returned to calm as everyone busily prepared for tomorrow's trip, hoping it would go smoothly and pleasantly.
Thinking about the long-awaited road trip home starting tomorrow made me so excited that I couldn't sleep all night. Lying in bed tossing and turning, my mind was filled with images of beautiful scenery and interesting experiences we might encounter on the journey. I imagined driving through magnificent mountains and vast grasslands, feeling the charm of nature; stopping to taste local delicacies and experiencing the customs of different regions... This anticipation of the unknown journey thrilled me so much that I simply couldn't fall asleep. Time passed slowly; the night felt exceptionally long, but I remained immersed in my delightful daydreams, eagerly awaiting tomorrow's arrival.
Shen Yulin lay beside me; he had already fallen asleep but was likely awakened by my restlessness. He turned over and pulled me tightly into his arms, softly asking, "Why aren't you asleep yet?"
I smiled shyly, "I'm too excited." Shen Yulin gently stroked my hair, "Since you can't sleep, how about we do some exercise?"
Before I could react, he leaned over me, his lips brushing against my skin while his fingers roamed up and down. He skillfully unfastened the delicate shoulder strap, and before long, I found myself completely bare beneath him. The moonlight streamed through the glass window as Shen Yulin's gaze filled with desire for me; I finally understood what he meant by exercise. "Baby, you're so beautiful!" His kisses traveled downward as our night deepened...
