In the early morning, I slightly opened my eyes. The side-sleeping position caused my back to press tightly against Shen Yulin. His left hand was resting under my head, while his right hand continued to caress my chest. "Awake?" Shen Yulin's low and magnetic voice sounded, and the breath he exhaled brushed gently against my ear, making me instinctively want to pull away. Feeling a bit numb, I moved slightly and was about to change positions when he said, "Don't move." I suddenly realized something unusual behind me, and my cheeks instantly flushed red. "You... you bad guy." "Baby, I never said it was over." After he spoke, pleasure overwhelmed my thoughts again.
When I woke up again, it was already afternoon. I sat up tiredly, silently cursing Shen Yulin in my heart for knowing we were supposed to set off on a road trip today yet still behaving like this. The room was empty except for me. I picked up my phone and called Shen Yulin. After a while, he pushed open the door and looked at me gently, "Awake?" I shot him a glare, "It's all your fault." "I've put the luggage in the car. Get up and eat something; we need to get ready to leave."
I quickly jumped out of bed, hurriedly changed into the clothes I had prepared earlier, and then rushed out of the room. At that moment, Shen Yulin followed closely behind me, carefully inspecting every corner of the room as if afraid of missing something important.
I absentmindedly grabbed some food and stuffed it into my mouth, filled with anxiety and just wanting to hit the road quickly. Just then, Aunt Guo learned that we were about to travel far and had specially prepared some exquisite snacks for us to take along for the journey. Looking at the treats Aunt Guo prepared warmed my heart. Shen Yulin took the snacks and placed them in the car. Cheng Haifeng drove first, while Zhang Yun sat in the passenger seat; Shen Yulin and I sat in the back. After such a morning commotion, I was still very tired and leaned against Shen Yulin to sleep again.
When night fell, I was awakened by a noisy sound. Rubbing my eyes, I looked outside; the car had stopped at a service station, and Zhang Yun and Cheng Haifeng were nowhere to be seen. The noise came from a flower field next to the service station, which was surrounded by people taking pictures. Colorful flowers were blooming everywhere, and a gentle breeze carried their fragrance.
"Want to go take a look?" Shen Yulin leaned close to my ear and asked softly. I nodded, enchanted by the beautiful scenery before me. We walked into the flower field, strolling through it and enjoying this wonderful time together. Excitedly, I ran into the flowers and posed in various ways for Shen Yulin to take pictures of me. In the photos, I smiled brightly against the backdrop of beautiful flowers. "Over here, over here, and here..." I happily directed Shen Yulin as he patiently took photos according to my requests.
After a while of taking pictures, I noticed an ice cream stand not far away. "I want ice cream," I said as I pulled Shen Yulin's hand toward the stand. After buying ice cream, we found a quiet corner to sit down. While eating ice cream, I admired the night view of the flower field and enjoyed the pleasant breeze on my face.
"I'm really happy today," I turned to look at Shen Yulin; his eyes were filled with tenderness. "As long as you're happy," Shen Yulin smiled and said, "We can go to more places together in the future and create more beautiful memories."
I nodded, filled with anticipation in my heart, hoping that this happiness could continue forever.
