It was the end of August in the blink of an eye. In two days, it would be the day when I and Chen Wu had agreed to get our marriage certificate. I originally thought I would be looking forward to it with excitement, but in reality, I felt more anxious and uneasy. I didn't even know what I was afraid of. 0

Chen Wu is a great person and very suitable to be a husband. He has a gentle personality and is very considerate. Most importantly, he treats me well. However, I felt that I hadn't completely let go. I couldn't forget the secret crush I once had on him. Perhaps it was just a sentiment from my youth, but I still couldn't move on. I always felt that there was a corner of my heart that belonged to him. 0

I didn't know what to do, so I decided to reach out to my best friend, Zhou Wen, hoping she could give me some advice. We agreed to meet at the mall. After I arrived, I sent her a message and waited for her at a nearby café. 0

I waited for almost half an hour before she hurriedly arrived. "Sorry, I'm late," Zhou Wen said as she sat down across from me. "It's fine," I smiled. 0

"What's wrong? You don't look too well," Zhou Wen observed with concern. "I'm fine," I replied with a smile. 0

"Did you have a fight with Chen Wu?" Zhou Wen asked. "No," I shook my head. "Then why do you look unhappy?" Zhou Wen pressed on. 0

"I just... feel a bit scared," I said. 0
"Scared?" Zhou Wen looked at me with some confusion. 0
"Yeah," I nodded. 0
"What are you scared of?" Zhou Wen asked. 0
"I don't know," I shook my head. 0
"Are you afraid that Chen Wu will bully you?" Zhou Wen asked. 0
"No," I shook my head again. 0
"Then what is it?" Zhou Wen inquired. 0
"I just... feel a bit unreal," I replied. 0
"What feels unreal?" Zhou Wen asked, somewhat puzzled. 0
"I feel like Chen Wu and I are about to get married, but I'm not ready yet," I said. 0
"You're not ready?" Zhou Wen looked at me in surprise. 0
"Yeah," I nodded. 0
"How can you not be ready?" Zhou Wen asked, confused. 0
"I just... feel a bit scared," I repeated. 0
"What are you scared of?" Zhou Wen asked again. 0
"I don't know," I shook my head once more. 0
"Are you just too nervous?" Zhou Wen asked. 0
"Maybe," I sighed. 0
"Don't think too much," Zhou Wen patted the back of my hand. 0
"Okay," I nodded. 0
"Come on, let's go for a walk," Zhou Wen smiled. 0
"Sure," I nodded again. 0
So we started walking together. 0
We spent the whole day shopping and bought a lot of things. 0

In the evening, we watched a movie at the cinema. The film was a romance that told the story of a couple from their first love to their wedding. I was very engrossed in it. When the movie ended, I couldn't help but cry. Zhou Wen handed me a tissue and comforted me, saying, "Don't cry, it's just a movie." 0

"I know," I replied, taking the tissue and wiping my tears. 0

"Do you think we will be like them?" I suddenly asked. 0

"Of course we will," Zhou Wen nodded. 0

"Really?" I was a bit skeptical. 0

"Absolutely," Zhou Wen smiled. 0

"But..." I wanted to say something more. 0

"Don't think too much," Zhou Wen interrupted me. "You just lack experience in relationships, which is why you're overthinking." 0

"Maybe you're right," I sighed. 0

"Don't worry, you will be happy," Zhou Wen said with a smile. 0

"Mm," I nodded. 0

"Come on, I'll take you home," Zhou Wen said cheerfully. 0

"Okay," I nodded again. 0

We walked out of the cinema and got into the car. On the way, we chatted casually. My mood gradually calmed down. Maybe Zhou Wen was right; I was just too nervous. Chen Wu and I had been dating for two years, and we knew each other well enough that getting married seemed like a natural progression. What was there to worry about? I reassured myself in my mind and slowly let go of my worries. 0
