The next morning, when I woke up, he had already prepared breakfast. I got up, washed up, and sat at the dining table. He brought over fried eggs and milk. 0

"Thank you," I said. 0

"You're welcome," he replied. 0

I took a sip of the milk; it tasted great. 0

"You made this?" I asked in surprise. 0

"Yeah," he nodded. 0

"That's impressive," I admired. 0

He smiled. 0

After finishing breakfast, he took me home. My parents were a bit surprised to see us get out of a car together. 0

"You two..." my mom looked at him hesitantly. 0

"We slept together yesterday," I explained. 0

"Oh," my mom nodded, "then come in quickly." 0

So, we entered the house. My parents were quite pleased with Chen Wu. 0

"Xiao Chen, you need to treat our Lin Wan well from now on," my dad said, patting his shoulder. 0

"Definitely," he nodded seriously. 0

My mom went to make lunch, and I walked into the kitchen to help. 0

"Look how considerate Xiao Chen is," my mom praised. 0

"Yeah," I nodded. 0

"You should cherish him," my mom advised. 0

"I will," I nodded again. 0

The dishes were served on the table, and we began to eat. 0
Dad took a small sip of wine and sighed, "Time waits for no one." 0
"You’re at it again," Mom shot him a glance. 0
"What’s wrong with that?" Dad replied defiantly. 0
Seeing them about to bicker again, I quickly intervened, "Dad, Mom, let’s eat." 0
"Right, right, let’s eat," Chen Wu chimed in. 0
Only then did Dad and Mom stop their quarrel and start eating. 0
After dinner, Chen Wu and I washed the dishes together. 0
"Look at us, we have such great chemistry," he said with a smile. 0
"Yeah," I nodded. 0
We exchanged smiles, our hearts filled with sweetness. 0
Once we finished washing the dishes, we returned to the living room where Dad and Mom were watching TV. 0
"Let’s go for a walk," Chen Wu suggested. 0
"Okay," I nodded. 0
So we stepped outside. 0
We strolled through the neighborhood, the evening breeze gently brushing against our cheeks, refreshing and pleasant. 0
"Tonight, we can watch the stars together," I said dreamily. 0
"Mm-hmm," he nodded. 0
We walked silently forward, enjoying this tranquil moment. 0
"Lin Wan," he suddenly called out. 0
"Mm?" I turned to look at him. 0
"I love you," he said softly. 0
My heart skipped a beat, feeling warmth spread throughout my body. 0
"I love you too," I whispered back. 0
He reached out his hand and held mine. 0
I looked at him, my heart filled with happiness. 0

"We should always be like this in the future, never to be separated," he said. 0
"Mm." I nodded vigorously. 0
We held each other's hands tightly, as if we would never let go. 0
On the day of the wedding, my mother woke me up at four in the morning to do my makeup. 0
The makeup artist applied various products on me, and I looked at my reflection in the mirror, feeling somewhat unfamiliar. 0
Zhou Wen, as the bridesmaid, had also arrived at my house early. 0
"Wow, Xiao Yuan, you look so beautiful today!" she exclaimed. 0
"Thank you," I replied with a smile. 0
"I'm speaking the truth," she laughed. 0
"By the way, did you hide a couple of packs of Shaqima?" I asked. 0
"Of course I did," she said proudly. "As the bridesmaid, I have to take care of the bride." 0
"That's good to hear," I nodded. 0
"Don't worry, I guarantee you won't go hungry at the wedding," she patted her chest. 0
"Then I'm relieved," I smiled. 0
After finishing my makeup, it was already six-thirty. 0
Chen Wu's call came in. 0
"Are you ready?" he asked. 0
"I'm ready," I replied. 0
"Then I'll come pick you up now," he said. 0
"Mm." I nodded. 0
After hanging up, my heart was filled with anticipation and nervousness. 0
At seven o'clock, the doorbell rang. 0
"They're here!" Zhou Wen jumped up excitedly to open the door. 0
When the door opened, Chen Wu appeared at the entrance. 0
He was dressed in a black suit, wearing a tie, with neatly combed short hair, looking handsome and dashing. 0
"Wow, Chen Wu, you look so handsome today!" Zhou Wen gushed. 0

"Thank you." He smiled. 0

"Xiao Yuan, hurry up, the groom is here to pick you up," Zhou Wen called out to me. 0

I stood up and walked towards him. He reached out his hand and took mine. 0

"You look beautiful today," he said softly. 0

"Thank you." I smiled shyly. 0

"Let's go," he said. 0

"Okay." I nodded. 0

Then, we stepped outside and got into the wedding car. 0

Inside the car, I looked out at the scenery, filled with complex emotions. I was finally getting married. I was finally marrying the person I loved the most. 0

I remembered the first time we met; it was back in high school. He was playing basketball on the court while I watched from the stands. His figure was so striking that it was hard to look away... 0

Lost in thought, my eyes began to mist over. 0

"Xiao Yuan, what's wrong?" Chen Wu asked with concern. 0

"I'm fine." I shook my head. "I'm just really happy." 0

"Silly, why are you crying?" He gently wiped away my tears. 0

"I can't help it," I choked out. 0

"Don't cry; today is our big day, we should be happy," he urged. 0

"Okay." I nodded vigorously and forced a smile. 0

"That's more like it." He smiled back and held my hand. 0

I looked at him, my heart filled with happiness. 0
