In the evening, Chen Wu returned home and saw Lin Wan still reading her composition book. He walked over and sat down beside her. "Have you been reading all day?"
"Yeah," Lin Wan nodded. "This one is really interesting."
"What’s so interesting about it?" Chen Wu took the book and casually flipped through a few pages.
"Look at this essay," Lin Wan opened to a piece she had written. "I wrote this."
Chen Wu glanced at the title: "My Dream." He read through the content carefully and couldn't help but laugh. "Your dream is to be a chef?"
"Yes," Lin Wan nodded. "I want to be a gourmet."
Chen Wu imagined Lin Wan wearing a chef's uniform cooking... Yeah, it was quite cute.
"What about now?" he asked. "Do you still want to be a chef?"
"Now..." Lin Wan hesitated for a few seconds. "I want to be a teacher more."
Chen Wu raised an eyebrow slightly.
"I want to teach many, many little kids," Lin Wan said, her eyes filled with longing. "I want them all to become smart and adorable."
Chen Wu: "..." He could almost see a motherly Lin Wan in his mind.
"What's wrong?" Lin Wan asked, noticing his strange expression with curiosity.
"Nothing," Chen Wu shook his head. "I think your dream is great."
"Really?" Lin Wan looked at him excitedly. "You think my dream is great too, right?"
"Yeah," Chen Wu nodded. "I think it's really good."
"Hehe," Lin Wan laughed happily. She looked really beautiful when she smiled. Chen Wu couldn't help but pinch her cheek. "What are you grinning about?"
"I'm just happy that you support me," Lin Wan said with a beaming smile.
Chen Wu smiled and said, "I have always supported you."
"I know," Lin Wan leaned on his shoulder, "I support you too."
"Mm." Chen Wu wrapped his arm around her shoulders, and the two quietly leaned against each other.
After a while, Chen Wu suddenly spoke up, "Let's go play basketball."
"Huh?" Lin Wan was taken aback.
"I'm taking you to play basketball," Chen Wu said.
Lin Wan: "......"
She didn't understand why they needed to go play basketball out of the blue.
"Come on." Chen Wu took her hand, "I'm taking you to a good place."

Chen Wu drove and brought Lin Wan to the university.
Lin Wan followed him out of the car in confusion as they walked into the campus.
The campus at night was very quiet, with streetlights illuminating the path.
Chen Wu led Lin Wan to the basketball court, where a group of college students were gathered, playing basketball.
Lin Wan looked at Chen Wu in surprise, "You and them..."
"I’m friends with them," Chen Wu explained, "I often come here to play ball."
"Oh." Lin Wan realized.
Chen Wu and Lin Wan stood by the court watching the boys play basketball.
They played intensely, sweat flying everywhere.
Lin Wan watched and couldn't help but clap and cheer.
Her gaze unconsciously fell on Chen Wu.
He was wearing casual sportswear, his figure tall and upright.
Even just standing there casually, he exuded a sense of relaxed ease.
Lin Wan couldn't help but imagine how he looked playing basketball.
He must be very handsome.
"Brother Chen!" someone called out to Chen Wu.
Chen Wu raised his hand as a greeting.
"Come on!" the person called out, "Three against three!"
Chen Wu hesitated for a few seconds and looked down at Lin Wan: "I'm going to play for a while; wait for me here."
"Okay," Lin Wan nodded.
Chen Wu took off his jacket and casually hung it on a nearby rack before walking onto the basketball court.
Lin Wan watched him intently.
Chen Wu walked to the center of the court, greeted the others briefly, and then started playing.
His movements were clean and sharp, exuding charisma.
Each shot he made drew screams from the girls watching.
Lin Wan felt a twinge of jealousy as she listened to their cheers.
They must really like Chen Wu.
She couldn't help but steal a few more glances at him.
Chen Wu seemed to sense her gaze and suddenly turned his head to look at her.
Their eyes met in mid-air.
Lin Wan's heart skipped a beat.
Chen Wu winked at her before turning back to continue playing.
Lin Wan: "……"
This guy actually flirted with her in front of so many people!
Lin Wan's cheeks burned, and she quickly lowered her head.

After about half an hour of playing, Chen Wu finally finished.
He walked over, drenched in sweat, and grabbed a towel to wipe his face.
Lin Wan looked at him, her cheeks flushing again.

"Thank you." Chen Wu took the cup and drank more than half of it.
Then he looked at Lin Wan and asked, "Do you want to play for a while?"
"I don't want to," Lin Wan quickly shook her head.
She didn't know how to play basketball at all.
"Then how about I teach you?" Chen Wu suggested.
"No," Lin Wan shook her head again.
With so many people watching, did she not care about her pride?
"Then I'll walk with you," Chen Wu proposed.
"Okay," Lin Wan nodded.
The two walked along the playground.
There weren't many people on the playground, and occasionally a few couples passed by.
Lin Wan and Chen Wu walked slowly, enjoying the tranquility of the night.
"I think..." Lin Wan suddenly spoke up, "we should come out for walks more often."
"Yeah," Chen Wu nodded, "let's come every week from now on."
"Okay," Lin Wan nodded.
They continued walking, chatting along the way, feeling happy.

That night, Lin Wan lay in bed, tossing and turning unable to sleep.
Images of Chen Wu playing basketball kept flashing through her mind.
So handsome, so charming.
Her heart raced again.
She couldn't help but wonder if Chen Wu really liked her back in high school.
This thought caught her off guard.
If it was true, then when did they start to like each other?
