Following the map provided by the monk, everyone set foot on the road to the mountain peak. The mountain road was rugged and full of various challenges. They traversed through dense forests, climbed steep mountain ranges, and had to overcome many natural obstacles along the way.
Suddenly, when they arrived at the foot of the mountain, a waterfall appeared in front of them, blocking the path to the mountaintop. This waterfall spanned across the cliff, with swift-flowing water and a breathtaking momentum.
"This waterfall looks difficult to cross," said Wuming with a furrowed brow.
Lingling stood in front of the waterfall, touching the flowing water with her hand, and said, "This waterfall seems to have a special energy. We need to find a way to cross it."
Dei Wu looked at the waterfall and suddenly had an idea. She took out her Yanxin Sword and said, "Perhaps we can use the power of the sword to cross this waterfall."
Chin Feng nodded in agreement and said, "Good idea, let's give it a try."
So, Dei Wu grabbed her Yanxin Sword, and the sword quickly ignited flames. With a gentle wave, a sword light slashed towards the waterfall. In an instant, the water in the waterfall was dissolved by the flames, forming a path to the opposite bank.
"Hurry, quickly cross over!" Wuming shouted.
They took advantage of this brief opportunity to cross the waterfall and reached the other side. However, when they stood in the new place, a strong wind suddenly blew, almost knocking them off their feet.
"This wind is too strong!" Sung shouted.
Chin Feng exerted the power of the Wind Shadow Sword, attempting to restrain the wind, but still felt immense pressure.
Lingling also found that her cold ice sword could help condense the strong wind, weakening its force somewhat.
Dei Wu pulled out the Yanxin Sword and used flames to resist the wind's attack. She said, "We must work together to overcome this wind."
The four of them worked together to continuously resist the wind's invasion. Gradually, they felt the wind weaken, and finally, the wind stopped. They successfully steadied their steps.
"The wind is really strange, but we finally made it through," Chin Feng sighed with relief.
The group continued to move forward and climbed up the steep mountain range, finally reaching the mountaintop. At the summit, they discovered an ancient mysterious cave, which was sealed by a huge stone door, appearing very ancient and mysterious.
"Is this the place we're looking for?" Sung asked.
Wuming nodded and said, "Yes, this cave seems to be the location of our next target."
They approached the stone gate, but found that it wouldn't open easily. At that moment, Chin Feng noticed some ancient symbols carved on the stone gate, indicating that a puzzle needed to be solved in order to open it.
The symbols on the stone gate look very mysterious. Each symbol represents a different element, including wind, fire, wood, and ice, which is very similar to the powers they represent.
Lingling approaches the stone gate and carefully observes the symbols. She says, "These symbols seem to be related to our weapons. Each symbol corresponds to an element. We need to touch them in the correct order, maybe this will open the stone gate."
Dei Wu nodded in agreement and said, "Let's try it in the order of our elements."
They stood in front of the stone gate and, in their elemental order, touched the symbols one by one. First was Chin Feng's Wind Shadow Sword, then Dei Wu's Yanxin Sword, followed by Sung's sword, and finally Lingling's Cold ice sword.
When they touched the last symbol, the stone door suddenly emitted a faint vibration, and then slowly began to open, revealing a dark passage.
"It looks like we succeeded!" Wuming chuckled and said, "Now, let's enter this cave and find the core of the Immortal Ruins."
They entered the cave, where it was pitch black. Only their weapons emitted a faint glow, illuminating the path ahead. The cave was filled with an ancient atmosphere, as if it had existed for hundreds of years.
Suddenly, they heard a strange sound, echoing from the depths of the cave.
"Welcome to the core of Immortal Ruins, warriors," a voice rang out, seemingly from a mysterious presence.
Wuming walked ahead, saying, "We need to find the source of the voice and see what awaits us."
They continued forward, following the guidance of the sound, and entered deeper into the cave. As they delved further, the cave became increasingly spacious, adorned with ancient murals and mysterious statues.
Finally, they arrived at a vast chamber, within which stood an ancient altar. Upon the altar rested a shimmering treasure chest, the core of the Immortal Ruins.
"This is what we're looking for," Wuming said.
However, just then, a shadow suddenly appeared in front of them, a figure in a black robe appeared next to the altar.
"You shouldn't have come here," the voice of the cloaked figure warned.
Chin Feng and his team faced an unknown challenge. They must overcome the obstacles posed by the cloaked figure, protect the core of the Immortal Ruins, and uncover more mysteries.
