After leaving the Crystal Palace, Wu Sheng and Hang Lin entered a place called the Valley of Illusion.
The valley is densely vegetated, and the air is filled with mist, greatly limiting visibility. They cautiously proceed through this unknown territory, where everything around them seems quiet and mysterious.
"The atmosphere here is somewhat unusual," Hang Lin said in a low voice, her eyes searching for potential danger in the ever-changing mist.
Wu Sheng nodded in agreement, his hand tightly gripping the hilt of his sword, ready to respond to any sudden situation. "We must remain vigilant, as there may be hidden secrets here unknown to us."
As they ventured deeper into the valley, a sudden gust of wind dispersed some of the mist, revealing an ancient ruin. In the center of the ruin, there was a broken stone platform, upon which it seemed some important item had once been placed.
Approaching the stone platform, they carefully observed the carvings on it. "These carvings seem to be related to the Ghostly Lotus Terrace. Perhaps this place was once a site for some kind of ritual."
Wu Sheng carefully studied the surrounding environment, "Every stone and every plant here could be a key clue in finding Ghostly Lotus Terrace."
In a corner of the ruins, they discovered a hidden cave, its entrance covered by vines and almost unnoticed. Wu Sheng and Hang Lin decided to explore the cave.
The interior of the cave is extremely narrow, and they have to carefully navigate through it. Deep inside the cave, they discovered a small underground chamber, in which there was an ancient book.
Hang Lin Gently flipping through the book, they found that it contained a wealth of information about the Ghostly Lotus Terrace, including its history, function, and some clues.
"It looks like we're one step closer to Ghostly Lotus Terrace," Wu Sheng said, with a glint of anticipation in his eyes.
After leaving the Valley of Illusions, Wu Sheng and Hang Lin arrived in an area known as the Spirit Stone Plain. The area was covered with strangely shaped giant spirit stones, emitting a faint glow as if containing some mysterious power.
"These spirit stones don't seem like ordinary rocks," Hang Lin observed, sensing a subtle energy fluctuation within them.
Wu Sheng stepped forward and gently touched a spiritual stone, immediately feeling a warm energy flow through his body. "These spiritual stones may have some connection to Ghostly Lotus Terrace."
They searched within the spiritual stone field, hoping to find more clues about Ghostly Lotus Terrace. Suddenly, the ground began to shake, and a massive spiritual stone monster emerged from underground, launching an attack on them.
"Be careful!" Wu Sheng wielded his sword to meet the enemy, his swordsmanship was agile and precise, each strike releasing dazzling starlight, slashing towards the spirit stone monster.
Hang Lin quickly joined the battle, using the power of wind and thunder to combat this huge enemy. Every flash of lightning left a mark on the body of the spirit stone monster.
In this intense battle, Wu Sheng and Hang Lin discovered the weak point of the spirit stone monster: its core. They began to focus their attacks on this area.
"Now!" Wu Sheng shouted, as he swung his sword with all his might, sending a sword energy straight towards the core of the spirit stone monster. Hang Lin gathered the power of lightning, forming a powerful lightning explosion that merged with Wu Sheng's sword energy, creating an unprecedented attack.
Under their powerful attack, the spirit stone monster finally collapsed into a pile of rubble. Wu Sheng and Hang Lin were panting heavily, but their faces were filled with the joy of victory.
"We did it," Hang Lin gasped, her eyes revealing determination.
Wu Sheng nodded, his gaze falling on the scattered stones on the ground. "Perhaps these fragments of spirit stones can provide us with more clues."
They began to collect the fragments of spirit stones, hoping to uncover the secrets of the Ghostly Lotus Terrace.
After leaving the Spirit Stone Plains, Wu Sheng and Hang Lin arrived at a place called Dream Lake. The surface of the lake was as calm as a mirror, and strange flowers bloomed on the shore, filling the air with a dreamlike atmosphere.
Hang Lin Staring at the lake, she felt that the water here was different from regular lake water. "The water here seems to possess some kind of special energy."
Wu Sheng Squatting down, she dipped her hand into the lake water and immediately felt a gentle force enveloping her palm. "This water... seems to have a healing effect."
At that moment, ripples suddenly appeared on the surface of the lake, and a powerful force rose from the bottom of the lake. A water elemental creature emerged in front of them, its body composed of clear lake water, with deep light shimmering in its eyes.
"Are you travelers here to seek the Ghostly Lotus Terrace?" the water elemental's voice rippled like waves.
Wu Sheng and Hang Lin made eye contact and nodded in response. "Yes, we are looking for Ghostly Lotus Terrace. Do you know its whereabouts?"
The water element slowly moved on the surface of the lake, as if contemplating. "Ghostly Lotus Terrace is a very mysterious item, its power is related to time and space. However, to find it, you must first pass the trial I will give you."
Wu Sheng and Hang Lin are ready to accept the challenge. The water element immediately creates a series of obstacles formed by water currents, which move at different speeds and directions, testing their reaction and coordination abilities.
"We must cooperate in order to pass these trials," Hang Lin said, as she began to use her wind and thunder magic to control and guide the water currents.
Wu Sheng then used his swordsmanship to cut through the water blocking their path. They weaved through the ever-changing currents, displaying astonishing coordination and skill.
After much effort, they finally passed all the trials. The water elemental showed a satisfied expression, its body gradually dissolving into the lake water.
"You have shown outstanding abilities and teamwork. The clue to Ghostly Lotus Terrace lies deep within this abyss. However, to obtain it, there is an even greater challenge waiting for you." The voice of the water element gradually fades away like water ripples.
Wu Sheng and Hang Lin look at each other, knowing that this journey will not be easy. But they are ready to face any challenge.
Deciding to dive to the bottom of the lake, Wu Sheng and Hang Lin began to submerge into the cold and clear lake water. As they descended, the lake water became deeper and the surrounding light gradually dimmed. However, by their side, a faint light guided them forward.
Deep into the lake bottom, they discovered a huge underwater cave, the entrance surrounded by a blue light, as if it were a gateway to another world.
When they entered the cave, a powerful rush of water suddenly surged out, almost sweeping them away. Wu Sheng quickly wielded his sword to create a protective shield, while Hang Lin used the power of lightning to stabilize their forms.
Deep in the cave, they encountered an ancient underwater guardian, its body made of blue crystals, with eyes shimmering with wisdom.
"You are brave travelers, having passed the trial of the water element. Now, I will give you the final challenge," echoed the voice of the guardian throughout the cave.
It created a series of intricate water flow patterns, each containing powerful forces. Wu Sheng and Hang Lin must find the correct path within these patterns while avoiding being swept away by the powerful currents.
They shuttle cautiously between the patterns, each step extremely careful. Wu Sheng uses her exquisite swordsmanship to cut through the obstructing water flow, while Hang Lin utilizes her lightning power to explore the path ahead.
When Wu Sheng and Hang Lin entered The Valley of Storms, they immediately encountered a thrilling natural test.
