"Then what?" Zhou Qi said provocatively.
I replied calmly, "My last name is not Zhou; I am not a tool for you to take revenge on the Zhou family."
Zhou Qi chuckled lightly, "You know, it seems Zhou Qiang really trusts you to tell you even this."
I had been married to Zhou Qiang for five years and had only recently learned that he was not adopted by Zhou Wenguang but was his biological son.
Years ago, Zhou Wenguang had an affair and had Zhou Qiang with another woman.
Madam Zhou, unable to bear it, secretly took Zhou Qiang away and sent him to a place far from the city.
It wasn't until ten years later, when Madam Zhou passed away due to illness, that they found Zhou Qiang.
As for Zhou Qi, he was the son of Zhou Wenguang and his first wife, just two years younger than Zhou Qiang.
When Zhou Qi was seven, his mother died unexpectedly, and afterward, Zhou Wenguang brought Zhou Qiang back home.
For Zhou Qi, his mother's death was inextricably linked to the Zhou family.
Thus, he directed all his hatred toward Zhou Qiang.
"I don't understand," I shook my head slightly. "Clearly, it was your mother who cheated first; why do you think Zhou Qiang owes you?"
"There are many things you don't understand," Zhou Qi suddenly leaned closer. In the darkness, I could only see his star-like eyes.
I instinctively raised my hand, but he caught my wrist.
A smile curled at the corners of Zhou Qi's mouth: "I want to kiss you; what are you going to do about it?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Zhou Qi leaned down and kissed me.
I instinctively turned my head, and his kiss landed on my cheek.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me toward the bed.
I raised my left hand and aimed for his abdomen.
Zhou Qi seemed surprised that I would strike back and took a solid hit.
"I didn't expect you to be quite capable of hurting," Zhou Qi laughed lightly. "I'm really starting to like you more and more."
I coldly snorted, "If you want to die, I can help you with that."
As I spoke, I lifted my foot and kicked towards Zhou Qi's lower body.
Zhou Qi was quick and managed to dodge just in time.
Seizing the opportunity to escape, I was caught by Zhou Qi.
"Still trying to run?" Zhou Qi sneered as he pinned me down on the bed.
I tried to turn over, but Zhou Qi held me down firmly.
"Xu Jing, didn't you want me to go back? Just sleep with me for one night, and I'll go back with you."
"Dream on," I gritted my teeth.
Suddenly, Zhou Qi lowered his head and bit down hard on my neck.
I winced in pain and couldn't help but cry out.
"Your voice is really nice," Zhou Qi said, leaning down again.
I raised my foot and kicked hard while grabbing Zhou Qi's hair.
Zhou Qi winced in pain, his grip loosening slightly.
Taking the chance, I tried to get off the bed, but Zhou Qi grabbed my ankle.
I turned around and kicked Zhou Qi hard.
That kick used all my strength, causing Zhou Qi to double over in pain.
"Xu Jing, you're asking for death!"
As he spoke, anger ignited in Zhou Qi's eyes, reaching a boiling point.
Ignoring the pain, he pulled me back onto the bed.
I struggled desperately but was pinned down by Zhou Qi.
"If I don't kill you today, I'll take your surname!"
"Then you might as well die first!"
I raised my hand to slap Zhou Qi, but he caught my wrist.
"Do you want to hit me?" Zhou Qi sneered, "Don't forget, all of my people are here."
I tried to calm myself down: "Zhou Qi, if you want to take revenge on the Zhou family, come at me openly and don't drag me into this."
"Aren't you curious whether your husband can give up the entire Zhou family for you?" Zhou Qi smirked, "I'll tell you the answer right now."
As soon as the words left his mouth, Zhou Qi leaned down.
I struggled desperately, but it was futile.
At that moment, I suddenly felt a strange sensation.
I shouted sharply, "Zhou Qi, get off me!"
