Xu Jing looked into Zhou Qi's eyes: "Zhou Qi, you promised me that as long as I signed the divorce agreement, you would let Zhou Qiang go. You promised me."
Zhou Qi: "..."
Xu Jing: "Zhou Qi, I have nothing left. I only have Zhou Qiang now. I can't lose him again. I'm begging you, please don't hurt him..."
Zhou Qi interrupted her, "Who said I hurt him?"
Xu Jing was taken aback.

Zhou Qi added, "I had no idea about your signing the divorce agreement."

Zhou Qi said, "Also, if I really wanted to use Zhou Qiang to threaten you, I could just bring him over directly. Why would I need to go through Huang Hongwei?"
Xu Jing was still silent.
Zhou Qi pressed on, "So, think about it—what's really going on with Huang Hongwei and Zhou Qiang?"
Xu Jing did not respond.
Half an hour later, Zhou Qi's phone rang.
Liu Liang informed him over the phone, "Zhou Qiang is undercover abroad and won't be back anytime soon. You all should prepare yourselves mentally."
Zhou Qi was speechless.
After hanging up, Zhou Qi relayed Liu Liang's words to Xu Jing.
Upon hearing this, tears streamed down Xu Jing's face.
