"Okay!" Rao Jie replied without a second thought.
However, Wu Rong continued, "But first, I want to see just how poor your math skills are. Prepare a math test paper and call me when you're done."
Rao Jie immediately agreed with excitement.

Wu Rong stopped asking questions, set the test paper down, and stood up to leave.
Rao Jie quickly reached out and grabbed Wu Rong's arm as if holding onto her last lifeline.
Whether it was for Graduate School Recommendation or the entrance exam, she needed professional guidance for math. According to Wu Xin's words and the current situation, Wu Rong was her most reliable and greatest savior.
"Professor Wu! You said you would help me," Rao Jie said with a sad face, mustering the courage to plead.
"The prerequisite is that you must be teachable!" Wu Rong coldly refused.
Rao Jie panicked, "I am teachable! I will work very hard; I take my studies seriously."
Seeing that Wu Rong was determined to pull away, Rao Jie quickly thought of a way to flatter her: "Besides, I heard from Wu Xin that you are amazing; you managed to help her improve dramatically in just a month. You're so smart that even if I'm the dumbest student ever, you can definitely teach me, right?"
Wu Rong's eyebrows twitched as she looked down at the pleading Rao Jie. After thinking for a moment, she said, "That's true! Tsk! Now let go!"
Rao Jie quickly complied and released her grip while Wu Rong raised her hand to rub where she had just been grabbed.
"Alright, from now on, I will explain the problems you got wrong for an hour every night. You can prepare however you want during the day, just come to me with your questions at night."
"Just... just an hour?" Rao Jie said, a bit disappointed.
"It’s September now, and your exam is in mid-November. An hour every day is enough. When I taught Wu Xin, it was only half an hour each day. Aren't you being too greedy?"
Rao Jie was a bit skeptical, but since the offer was already on the table, she had no choice but to accept it. Let's go with this for now!
"So what are your conditions?"
Wu Rong slowly sat down and spoke when he was almost at eye level with Rao Jie, "I want you to keep me company every night!"
