In the darkness, a pair of eyes stared intently at her back, filled with lust.
"Guest, your items have arrived!" A waiter pushed open the door and startled Gu Yuniang, who was lost in thought.
"Why did you come in without knocking?" There was a hint of anger in her eyes; this person had no sense of courtesy at all!
"Guest, I knocked, and I knocked for quite a while!" The waiter looked at her with a wronged expression.
"Forget it, just put it down!" Gu Yuniang was in no mood to deal with him. She waved her hand impatiently, and after he left, she began to eat heartily.
After satisfying her hunger, she lay back down on the bed.
At this point, it was already midnight.
In the darkness, the door was gently pried open from the outside, and several figures with their faces covered in black cloth quietly entered.
The leader whispered, "Her money is in the package. Just to be clear, if you want money, I want the person!"
The others quickly nodded and stepped forward to rummage through her package for the money. Then they left one person behind, who stared hungrily at the woman on the bed.

Gu Yuniang woke up, rubbing her swollen head. Looking outside, she realized it was already well past noon. Damn it, how could she have slept so deeply? Annoyed, she hurriedly got up to dress and freshen up.

Though puzzled, she didn't ask further questions and directly left the Inn, heading towards the Carriage.
"Hey, why are you wearing a hat today?" Gu Yuniang, veiled in a scarf, looked at the Coachman wearing a hat and chuckled softly. Was this some sort of servant following their master?
The Driver merely shook his head and said nothing.
Gu Yuniang looked at him and suddenly felt that he seemed familiar. She said nothing and quietly boarded the Carriage, leaving the curtain open as she stared intently at the person driving the carriage.
Carriage sped along the road, quickly leaving the vehicle.
Gu Yuniang felt a stir in her heart. She took out her water pouch and handed it to Coachman. "Would you like some water?"
The Driver remained silent, only shaking his head.
With a determined bite of her lip, Gu Yuniang splashed the water from the pouch directly onto his head and then feigned surprise, saying, "Oh, I'm sorry! Let me check if you got wet!" A mischievous glint sparkled in her lively eyes as she swiftly lifted his hat while he was completely stunned.
When she saw the panicked expression on his face, she was taken aback. "How could it be you?"
Imperial Prosperity Hall.
Luo Qingyun had just reached the entrance when he spotted a familiar figure walking out.
He couldn't help but frown. "Yunxin, why are you out here?" To be honest, he really disliked this maid. He always felt she was lying and constantly bullying the kind-hearted Xiao Yun'er.
"Does Lord Luo seem to dislike me?" Yunxin smiled slightly. It seemed that her time in prison hadn't tormented her at all. Instead, it made her even more spirited!
"As long as you understand!" Seeing her smug expression made Luo Qingyun even more irritated.
Despite his words, Yunxin wasn't angry. "Am I really that annoying?"
"Does disliking someone need a reason?" Luo Qingyun snorted coldly and retorted before swaggering inside.
Yunxin's smile slowly stiffened. Why did everyone around Tian Feiyao like Gu Yuniang?
Even now that she was dead, these people still refused to look at her!

Thinking of this, her smile became even more radiant...
"Senior Brother, why was Yunxin released?" Luo Qingyun burst in with this question right away!
Tian Feiyao narrowed his eyes. "Are you questioning me?"
Luo Qingyun was taken aback. "I thought you would have killed her!"
