When Lin Yaru arrived at the company where Ye Shenghan worked, it was just a little past two in the afternoon. The employees had only recently started their afternoon shift. Impatient, she made her way to Lamborghini, the Asian headquarters located in a tall building in the city center. She looked up at the towering structure and then turned to glance around; the skyscraper stood out among a cluster of buildings that were no more than ten stories high, giving her a feeling of being a crane among chickens.
Lamborghini was indeed an internationally renowned automobile manufacturing and sales company. Not only were their Lamborghini cars top-notch, but even the location and architecture of their offices were impressive.
As Lin Yaru pondered this, she walked through the grand, luxurious entrance of Lamborghini Asia Branch, which sparkled like crystal.
“Excuse me, miss, who are you looking for? Do you have an appointment?”
As soon as Lin Yaru stepped into the impeccably clean and luxurious lobby, an elegant and beautiful receptionist approached her with a radiant smile that lit up her face.
Today marked the tenth day since Xiao Hui started working at Lamborghini Asia Branch. The incredibly handsome man who had saved her life not long ago at the airport—the Sales Executive Director of Lamborghini—had come over during her lunch break to check on her. He mentioned that a beautiful lady named Lin Yaru would be coming to see Ye Shenghan this afternoon. He instructed her not to announce it and to take the elevator reserved for executives directly to the twenty-eighth floor.
Xiao Hui was filled with curiosity about this beautiful lady named Lin Yaru. Who was she to receive such special attention from someone so elusive as Lamborghini's Sales Executive Director? With a mind full of questions, she focused her gaze on the entrance. So when Lin Yaru walked in, Xiao Hui greeted her with a beaming smile—she was certain it had to be her!
Dressed in white, Lin Yaru appeared ethereal, elegant, and beautiful, like an angel descending from heaven.
“I’m looking for Mr. Ye Shenghan from your branch,” Lin Yaru said to the pure and lovely receptionist. For some reason, the receptionist's gentle smile evoked an unusual sense of warmth in her heart.
“You must be Miss Lin Yaru!”
“Uh?!” Lin Yaru was slightly taken aback by this: “Yes, I am Lin Yaru.”
"Don't be surprised, our company's Chief Sales Officer has taken special care to let you go straight up... Miss Lin, this way please!" Xiao Hui's smile widened, her playful canine teeth gleaming with a silvery light as she gestured toward Lin Yaru with a standard inviting pose, directing her to the elevator that led directly to the Lamborghini office.
"Thank you!"
Lin Yaru elegantly stepped toward the elevator...
