After a whole day of busy and tense schedules, Yan Chengjie maintained a cheerful smile.

"Jie... Lamborghini! You're back," Lin Yaru immediately put away her charming smile and stood up respectfully to greet Yan Chengjie.
She looked serene and beautiful, with no hint of grievance on her face and not a single tear in her eyes. She raised her lovely and stubborn face, gazing at him defiantly.
For a moment, Yan Chengjie felt confused; he found himself at a loss for words, staring at her in astonishment. It was as if he saw a delicate little white rabbit holding hands with a big bad wolf, mocking his futile efforts.
Beside the beautiful Lin Yaru sat the person he despised—Chen Jianghui. However, today Chen Jianghui was unusually quiet and composed, contrasting sharply with his usual behavior of being overly familiar with female secretaries.
He had thought that when he returned, she would panic and rush to him, perhaps even throw herself into his arms while crying about Chen Jianghui's rudeness. She would accuse him of teasing her with words and lewd glances...
He could comfort her, holding her in a grand manner and even kissing her!
However, she did not expect that Lin Yaru had no tears or complaints; instead, she happily sat together with her, chatting and laughing as if they were the only ones in the room! It was as if they had turned the company's reception area into their own living room!
"President Yan, your Secretary is simply amazing! Polite and friendly, she's just perfect—it's truly enviable that you found such a great Secretary," Chen Jianghui's Cantonese-accented Mandarin sounded particularly harsh to Yan Chengjie. He really couldn't understand how Lin Yaru could tolerate it.
He had failed! The Little Demon Girl was truly not an ordinary person; his carefully crafted scheme had ensnared himself instead.
