I looked at her and gently asked, "Sister, what happened? Didn't you want to marry him before? Why is it like this now?"
She just cried harder.

I patted her shoulder and asked, "Sister, what’s going on between you and Big Brother?"

"Yeah, I came back to check in." There was little emotion left between us, not even resentment. I could even manage to smile and talk to them calmly.
"Mom, Dad, I heard my sister is getting married. Why haven't you mentioned it?" They avoided my gaze. "Well... it was a last-minute decision." I smiled lightly. "A last-minute decision? But my sister said she’s marrying the Eldest Young Master. Did you both agree to this?" They remained silent, looking at me without speaking.
I stopped pressing them for answers, and as I observed their expressions, I recalled what Lin Jiao had done to marry the President of Tang Corporation. It made me feel somewhat disgusted. I had once felt a hint of sympathy for Lin Jiao, but now I felt pleased; she brought this upon herself!
My mother took my hand, her voice trembling slightly. "Yue, you're back." I looked at them and gave a cold smile. My father sighed and said, "Your sister is about to get married; you should come back more often."
I nodded slightly.
"Okay."
Lin Jiao looked at our parents and said, "I want to talk to my sister alone for a few minutes."
Our parents nodded and left.
I looked at Lin Jiao in confusion.
"What do you want to tell me?"
She bit her lip and said, "Can you help me marry Eldest Young Master?"
I was taken aback.
"What?"
She grabbed my hand, excitedly saying, "On the day of the wedding, you sit in the bridal car and marry Eldest Young Master, okay? You just need to hold them off for me. As long as you can keep them busy, I can find a way to escape. Will you help me?"
I stared at her in shock.
"Are you crazy?"
She looked at me and said, "I'm driven crazy by you!"
"You are living a good life now, yet you want to watch your sister jump into a fire pit!"
"Lin Yue, you have what I should have; you should be satisfied, right?"
"I helped you get all of this; shouldn't you be grateful to me? Are you really going to refuse me this small request?!"
I glared at her in anger.
