Just like that, I settled temporarily in the villa on that small island. The woman was very kind to me; she cooked for me every day, played with me, helped me with my homework, and told me stories. However, I noticed that she rarely left the villa. Even when she did go out occasionally, she wore a black cloak that wrapped her up tightly. Moreover, whenever she left, several men dressed in black suits accompanied her. These men wore sunglasses and had expressionless faces, looking very serious. 0

The woman's identity piqued my curiosity, and I really wanted to know who she was, but I felt it was inappropriate to ask her directly. Thus, I lived in that villa for three days. During those three days, I explored the small island thoroughly. The island wasn't large, but I found no signs of human presence; aside from the woman and myself, I hadn't seen anyone else. 0

I also tried to leave during those three days, but despite numerous attempts, I couldn't find any way to escape. The island was surrounded by an endless sea, and I had no idea how to get away from there. Additionally, I discovered that my special ability—my power to change size at will—was ineffective here. No matter how hard I tried, I could no longer grow larger or smaller. This made me feel extremely frustrated and helpless. 0

By the fourth day, I realized I couldn't continue like this; I needed to think of a way to leave this cursed place as soon as possible. So, I decided to explore the surroundings of the island again to see if there were any other routes for escape. With Da Huang by my side, I left the villa and walked along the edge of the island. 0

The area around the island was filled with dense woods; the trees were tall and lush, blocking out sunlight and creating a gloomy atmosphere beneath them. Occasionally, eerie bird calls echoed through the forest; the sounds were sharp and unsettling. There were also bizarre insects lurking in the woods that looked quite terrifying. 0

After walking for over half an hour with Da Huang, I suddenly heard a strange noise ahead. It was very loud, resembling many people shouting mixed with the sound of metal clashing. After listening for a moment, it hit me—those were sounds of battle! 0

I was immediately alarmed; there was fighting happening here! I turned to Da Huang and said, "Da Huang, it's bad! There's a battle up ahead; we need to run!" Da Huang seemed to understand my words and immediately followed me as we dashed forward. 0

However, we hadn't run far when a group of bizarre soldiers suddenly charged out from ahead. These soldiers looked fierce; each one wore tattered armor and wielded long knives and shields. Their faces were as dark as soot with eyes as big as water buffaloes, making them look extremely frightening. 0

At the forefront was a general, who looked even more menacing. He had a deep scar on his face that stretched from the corner of his left eye down to his neck, resembling a centipede crawling across his skin. 0

The general rode atop a massive Giant Black Ant, which had four transparent wings buzzing as it flew, creating a terrifying sight. 0

With the general mounted on the Giant Black Ant, he quickly surrounded me and Da Huang along with his soldiers. 0
