Everyone hurriedly followed, stepping through the tall grass as they made their way deeper into the valley. After walking about a mile, Da Huang suddenly stopped, facing the cliff and barking wildly. I looked up at the cliff but didn’t see anything unusual. 0

Just then, a massive creature suddenly jumped down from the cliff and fled into the distance. Everyone focused their eyes and realized it was a wild rabbit. This rabbit was enormous, taller than me. When it jumped, it pushed off with its powerful hind legs, drawing in its front legs, curling its body into a ball as it sped away. 0

A Meng reacted the fastest, shouting, "Don't let it get away!" After saying that, he chased after the rabbit. The others quickly followed suit, grabbing their weapons and surrounding the rabbit. They couldn't let it escape into the forest; otherwise, with their current strength, they would never catch it. They had to corner it in the valley where it would have nowhere to run. 0

Everyone pushed the rabbit towards the edge of the cliff, hoping it would flee outside the valley. However, this clever rabbit didn’t run out; instead, it dashed along the cliff deeper into the valley. Everyone was panting heavily but dared not stop; they gritted their teeth and continued to chase. 0

As they pursued the rabbit, they gradually entered the deepest part of the valley, where the mountains were high and dense with trees, and weeds grew thickly—making for a very complicated terrain. Continuing to chase could lead to danger. I shouted, "Stop chasing! We need to retreat!" 0

Upon hearing this, everyone halted in their tracks, watching the increasingly distant rabbit with frustration. Just as they prepared to withdraw, a loud crash echoed from ahead, and suddenly the rabbit vanished from sight. 0

Everyone exchanged glances, unsure of what had happened. Cautiously moving forward, they eventually discovered that at the end of the cliff was a sheer drop; the rabbit had jumped into the grass below. Standing at the edge of the cliff and looking down, I saw a slope covered in tall weeds—likely where the rabbit was hiding. 0

A Meng surveyed the surroundings and said, "I'll go down and take a look." 0

I grabbed him and said, "No, it's too dangerous. We are not familiar with the situation here, and we can't act recklessly." 0
A Meng shook off my hand and replied, "Don't worry, big brother, I will be fine." 0
After saying that, A Meng jumped down. 0
I couldn't stop him in time and could only watch as he leaped off. 0
After A Meng jumped off the cliff, he disappeared into the grass. 0
Everyone anxiously waited, hoping that A Meng would return safely. 0
As time passed, A Meng still hadn't come back, and everyone's mood grew heavier. 0
They tightly gripped their weapons, vigilantly watching their surroundings to prevent any sudden attacks from wild animals. 0
After a while, A-Dai suddenly pointed ahead and shouted, "Look! A Meng is back!" 0
Everyone followed A-Dai's finger and saw A Meng emerging from the grass, walking towards the cliff. 0
He was holding a wild rabbit in his hand, with a big smile on his face, looking very happy. 0
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief; their anxious hearts finally settled down. 0
A Meng climbed up the cliff and handed the rabbit to me, saying, "Big brother, look! I caught it!" 0
