He stood up, left the cave, and decided to take a walk to clear his mind. He wandered aimlessly and, before he knew it, found himself in a grove of trees. The trees in the forest were lush and dense, their branches and leaves creating a canopy that blocked out the sun, giving off an eerie feeling. A shiver ran down my spine, and I felt a bit scared.
He paused, hesitating whether to continue forward. "Forget it, I should just go back," he murmured to himself. He turned around, preparing to return. Suddenly, his gaze was drawn to a large tree in the distance. It was a towering ancient tree with a thick trunk and dense foliage that looked like a giant umbrella from afar.
"Hey, what kind of tree is that? I've never seen one like it before," I asked curiously. He walked toward the ancient tree to get a better look. After about twenty minutes of walking, he finally reached the tree.
"Wow, this is really a big tree," I exclaimed. He looked up at the ancient tree, his eyes filled with wonder. The trunk was so thick that it would take five or six people to wrap their arms around it. The bark was rough and cracked into chunks, resembling dragon scales.
"This tree must be over a thousand years old," I speculated. He walked around the ancient tree and noticed some patterns on the trunk that looked somewhat like the lines on a map. "Hey, why do these patterns on the trunk resemble the lines on the map so much? Could it be..." I suddenly had an idea.
He quickly took out the map and began comparing it closely. "It really is!" I said excitedly. He discovered that the patterns on the trunk matched exactly with the lines on the map.
"So this ancient tree is the Illusion Dream Plateau on the map?" I speculated. He carefully examined the ancient tree, hoping to find some clues.
Suddenly, he discovered a tree hole in the trunk of an ancient tree.
"Hey, how did this tree hole get here?" I asked curiously.
He reached out his hand and explored inside the tree hole.
His hand touched something hard inside the hole.
"Hey, what is this?" I exclaimed in surprise.
He pulled it out with some effort.
"Hey, it's that piece of Emerald," I said joyfully.
He took a closer look and realized it was indeed the Emerald he had obtained earlier.
"How did it end up here?" I wondered.
The next morning, just as dawn broke, the king's guard hurriedly arrived at my cave.
"The king has summoned you three to the Royal Cave for an urgent matter," the guard said.
"Understood, we will be there shortly," I replied.
He quickly called Xiao Xiao and A Meng, and they rushed after the guard to the Royal Cave.
When they arrived at the Royal Cave, they found that two other people were already there.
The king sat solemnly on his throne, looking deep in thought.
"We pay our respects to the king," the three of them said in unison.
"No need for formalities," the king waved his hand and said.
He looked over the three of them and asked, "Did you all have a strange dream last night?"
"Yes, we dreamed of an old man in white who said we had received a sheepskin map," they replied in unison.
"What? You all had that dream too?" the king exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes, our dreams were exactly the same," they reiterated together.
