Mo Li glared at Ji Yan.
At this moment, he was still thinking about this.
In fact, not being able to attend the Wedding actually relieved her.

Ji Yan knew Wenbo was referring to Ni Laohai but didn't mention his name for fear that Mo Li would hear.
Mo Li asked nervously, "What's going on? Is someone trying to harm you?"
Ji Yan's expression was more serious and calm than ever.
"Maybe. Sorry for dragging you into this. When we get to City A, you'd better lie down in your seat to avoid getting hurt."
Mo Li didn't ask any further questions.
She understood the seriousness of the situation and knew Ji Yan wouldn't say much more to her.
Wenbo snorted.
"They're quite bold. Boss, should we notify the brothers to protect you?"
"No need," Ji Yan interrupted, "Informing them would draw too much attention."
Mo Li felt a bit dazed.
With all this talk about the boss and the brothers, it didn't quite fit Ji Yan's position as the president of Juying Group.
Perhaps Wenbo's chosen route was better; they hadn't encountered any danger upon entering City A.
Following Ji Yan's instructions, Mo Li lay back in his seat, keeping his head away from the window.
Ji Yan remained serious, observing the outside intently.
When they reached a secluded area, Wenbo stopped the car.
Ji Yan pulled Mo Li up.
"Quick, get out. We'll switch to another vehicle."
