Chapter 132: Kidnapping Her 6
The door was slammed shut and locked.
Mo Li had no key and couldn't open the door.
Thinking of escaping while Xiao Ran was away, she rushed to the balcony and leaned over to look down.
This was on the top floor of the building, very high up, and just looking down made her feel dizzy.
There was no way to get down from the balcony; she was afraid of getting hurt.
She walked around the room, trying to find a way to signal for help.
However, the room was empty; there was nothing useful at all.
It wasn't entirely empty, as it had all the necessary furniture, but there was no phone, no paper or pen. She couldn't even write a note to throw down for help.
Mo Li stood anxiously in the room, thinking of a way out.
The room was adorned with light blue curtains, the same in every room.
Light blue, with "Purple Hyacinth" printed on top.
Clearly, this was specially prepared by Xiao Ran for her.
Xiao Ran actually did care about her and thought of her; he just wasn't as meticulous as Ji Yan or as adept at reading people's expressions.
After all, the two of them grew up in very different environments.
However, matters of the heart cannot be forced, and she was destined to owe Xiao Ran for this lifetime.
Mo Li had yet to come up with a solution when the door was suddenly opened, and Xiao Ran walked in carrying a large bag of items.
He casually locked the door behind him.
He tossed the items onto the coffee table, collapsed onto the sofa, and opened a can of alcohol, taking a big gulp.
Pointing at the things on the coffee table, he said, "If you're hungry, eat it yourself."
Mo Li stood in front of the sofa and asked, "Xiao Ran, why are you locking me in here? What you're doing is pointless. Let me out."
Xiao Ran ignored her completely.
He didn't know why he brought her here and locked her up.
He had no idea what to do with her.
All he wanted was to drink and numb himself, to forget everything.
When he woke up from the alcohol, he hoped to find that it had all just been a nightmare.
His parents were not dead, Mo Li hadn't suddenly decided against marriage, and she certainly hadn't thrown herself into another man's arms.
Mo Li had no choice but to sit down beside the sofa and watch Xiao Ran gulp down the alcohol.
