As soon as I finished speaking, Gu Shisheng pulled a USB drive from his suit pocket, gently placed it on the table, and pushed it in front of Wei Chen with a detached tone. "You should be quite familiar with what's inside."
Wei Chen picked up the USB drive, trembling as he plugged it into the computer. A folder popped up on the screen, filled with numerous files and videos. He clicked on one of the videos, and the screen displayed an intimate scene between him and Huazi in a hotel room.
Wei Chen's face instantly turned pale. He hurriedly yanked out the USB drive and looked up at me in panic, his lips quivering but unable to utter a word.
"And here are the evidences of you transferring company assets over the years, as well as records of falsifying financial statements," Gu Shisheng said, fingers interlaced and leaning slightly forward, his tone sharp. "You wouldn't naively think that you could keep all this hidden from me, would you?"
Wei Chen slumped helplessly in his chair, like a deflated balloon, his once straight back now hunched. He stared blankly at the table, trying to find a reason to refute what was happening in his mind, only to realize it was all in vain.
"How... how could you..." he stammered, his voice hoarse as he looked at me with flickering eyes.
I snorted coldly, walked over to him, bent down, and looked directly into his eyes. " Wei Chen, did you really think I knew nothing? What do you take me for? All these years, while you professed your love for me, you used my money to support other women, and even..."
I took a deep breath, suppressing my anger, and continued, "You exploited my trust to transfer the shares my parents left me and the control of the company bit by bit into your name. You even took advantage of your position to cook the books and evade taxes. Do you think everyone is a fool?!"
With every word I spoke, Wei Chen's complexion grew worse. He opened his mouth to explain but found that any explanation would sound feeble.
"Stop talking!" Old Master Wei suddenly stood up, pointing at me angrily. "What do you know as a woman? These matters were all done by Cheng'er; they have nothing to do with our the Wei Family!"
"Nothing to do?" I scoffed coldly and turned to Old Master Wei with an icy tone. "If it weren't for your the Wei Family's greed and scheming to swallow my parents' company, how would I have ended up in this situation?!"
Taking a deep breath and holding back tears in my eyes, I continued, "After my parents passed away, it was your the Wei Family that repeatedly claimed they would take care of me and insisted I marry Wei Chen. And what happened? What did you take me for? A cash cow?!"
I suddenly turned around, pointing at Wei Chen, and shouted, " Wei Chen, I tell you, everything today is your own doing! I won't let you off the hook; you will pay for your actions!"
After saying that, I ignored the pale-faced the Wei Family members and walked over to Gu Shisheng, picking up the documents on the table and leaving the conference room without looking back.
Gu Shisheng cast a deep glance at Wei Chen, a cold smile creeping onto his lips, and then quickly followed my lead.
Wang Qian and Lawyer Fang exchanged glances, grabbed their belongings, and left the conference room as well.
Only the the Wei Family members remained in the room, staring at each other in shock and fear written all over their faces.
"Dad, what do we do now?" Wei Chen finally snapped back to reality, grabbing Old Master Wei's arm and asking with a trembling voice.
Old Master Wei slumped helplessly in his chair, looking at the pile of documents on the table. He sighed deeply and murmured to himself, "It's over; everything is over..."
