To celebrate Lufan's recovery, Fatty and his sister prepared a large feast. They both knew that Lufan had a huge appetite, so they even cooked a big barrel of rice.
Since Fatty became the kitchen helper, life had improved significantly for the two siblings; at least they could eat well and stay warm.
During the meal, Xiao Ling appeared particularly happy, not only because Lufan was feeling better but also because it had been a while since the three of them had eaten together. She happily took a few bites of rice and giggled, completely ignoring the speechless expressions on her brothers' faces.
At just thirteen years old, she had already experienced the ups and downs of life and knew that these two brothers were the best to her. They were the two most important people in her life.
After finishing the meal, Xiao Ling understood that her brothers had matters to discuss, so she obediently cleared the dishes to wash them, allowing them to talk in the yard.
Even now, Fatty was still a bit excited. He was one of the few who knew about Lufan's condition, so he was especially happy for him.
Lufan took out ten taels of silver and handed them to Fatty: “ Fatty, take this.”
“Where did you get so much money?” Fatty looked at the silver in astonishment; he knew that Lufan was practically broke.
“I need to team up with someone to go out of town to gather herbs tomorrow. This is an advance payment from them. Use it to send Xiao Ling to school; it's too lonely for her to stay at home all the time.”

Fatty didn't immediately take the silver but stared at Lufan: “You’re going out of town?”

Fatty watched Lufan leave, feeling quite worried. He knew very well how dangerous it was outside the city; his own parents had met with misfortune outside the city walls. Of course, he knew that what he had come up with could not compare to true talisman crafting techniques. After all, people are not foolish; if a fight were to break out, who would take the time to set this up? Moreover, anyone who saw several obvious stones lying around would find it suspicious.
Lufan was well aware of this. In the end, he sketched out the positions he had calculated and named it the Small Invisibility Formation, but he did not pursue it further.
Now, Lufan intended to use these Nightlight Stones as essential materials for creating the Small Invisibility Formation. After all, this time entering the forest meant facing numerous Primordial Beasts. They did not possess human-like intelligence and should be useful.
In addition to the Small Invisibility Formation, Lufan also prepared some other items—small tricks that might not have much effect but were better than nothing. At least they provided some psychological comfort.
As dusk gradually fell and it became midnight, Lufan finally finished his tasks and went to bed, quietly awaiting the arrival of the next day.
