After leaving the restaurant, Xiao Mei and the others continued to pester Lu Hao for photos, while I stood by quietly watching them. 0

Lu Hao chatted with them for a moment, then suddenly turned his head and winked at me. "I need to talk to you," he said. 0

"What is it?" I asked, puzzled. 0

"Come a little closer," Lu Hao whispered. 0

I hesitated for a moment before walking over to him. He bent down, leaned close to my ear, and lowered his voice. "I have a request that I need your help with." 0

His warm breath brushed against my ear, making me shiver involuntarily. I rubbed my ear and asked curiously, "What request?" 0

"I'm not sure yet," Lu Hao straightened up and smiled at me. "I'll tell you once I figure it out." 0

"Oh," I nodded in confusion and asked again, "Is it important?" 0

"Yes," Lu Hao nodded seriously. "Very important." 0

"Then hurry up and figure it out," I said. "You don't have to wait until next time; I'll treat you to dinner tonight." 0

Lu Hao: "..." 0

He couldn't help but laugh, reaching out to ruffle my hair. "Silly girl." 0

Me: "..." 0

I glared at him in frustration. "I'm not silly!" 0

Lu Hao chuckled but didn't say anything further. 0

Xiao Mei and the others noticed that Lu Hao and I were whispering together and immediately became displeased. 0

"Hey, what are you two talking about?" Xiao Mei shouted. "Why can't we listen?" 0

Xiao Min and Xiao Xue chimed in, "Exactly!" 0

I sighed and shrugged my shoulders. "It's nothing; he just said he has a request that needs my help." 0

"A request?" The eyes of Xiao Mei and her friends lit up. "What kind of request?" 0

"I don't know either," I shook my head. "He didn't say." 0

"Tch—" Xiao Mei and her friends pouted. "Trying to be mysterious!" 0

Lu Hao smiled but didn't explain further. 0

We chatted for a while longer before dispersing back to our dorms. That night, I tossed and turned in bed, unable to fall asleep no matter what. 0

In my mind, the handsome face of Lu Hao kept flashing before me, making my heart race. 0

I couldn't help but pick up my phone and open WeChat, where I saw a message from Lu Hao. 0
Lu Hao: Are you asleep? 0
Me: Not yet. 0
Lu Hao: Then let's go for a walk. 0
Me: Now? 0
Lu Hao: Yeah. 0

I thought for a moment and replied: Okay. 0
I got up, changed my clothes, and quietly walked out of the dormitory. 0

It was already late at night, and the campus was very quiet. 0
The bright moonlight poured down, illuminating the tree-lined path and the benches by the side. 0
I walked to a bench, sat down, and waited quietly. 0

Before long, Lu Hao arrived. 0
He sat down beside me and gently asked, "Why aren't you wearing a scarf?" 0
"I forgot," I smiled, "but it's fine." 0

Lu Hao paused for a moment, took off his scarf, and wrapped it around my neck. 0
Me: "..." 0
I looked up at him in surprise. 0
He looked back at me with warm and gentle eyes. 0

My heart skipped a beat, and I hurriedly lowered my head, mumbling a thank you. 0
Lu Hao smiled but didn't say anything. 0

We sat there quietly, neither of us speaking or leaving. 0
After a long time, Lu Hao finally spoke up. 0
He took a deep breath and slowly exhaled, "Li Ting, I do have a request." 0
"Mm," I replied softly, "go ahead." 0

Lu Hao: "..." 0
He fell silent for a moment before saying, "I think I'm still missing a girlfriend." 0
Me: "..." 0
I was stunned. 0

I stared at him blankly, taking a while to process what he had just said. I swallowed hard and hesitantly asked, "What... what do you mean?" 0

Lu Hao remained silent. 0

He turned his head to look at me, his gaze deep and resolute. "Li Ting," he said slowly, "would you be my girlfriend?" 0

I was speechless. 0

I froze again, staring at him with my mind completely blank. Was he... confessing to me? Should I agree to him? My heart was in turmoil, and I had no idea how to respond. 0

Seeing that I hadn't answered for a long time, a hint of disappointment flashed in Lu Hao's eyes. He forced a smile and said, "It's okay, take your time to think about it. You don't have to rush your answer." 0

"That's not it," I shook my head. "I didn't mean that." 0

"Then what do you mean?" Lu Hao asked tentatively. 0

I bit my lip, gathering my courage to ask, "Can I know why you like me?" 0

Lu Hao paused for a moment before softly saying, "I don't really know either." 0

"Huh?" I looked at him in confusion. 0

He smiled and continued, "Maybe it's because you give me a very different feeling." 0

"What feels different?" I asked curiously. 0
