Lu Hao had booked a private dining restaurant with a very elegant atmosphere. 0

As soon as we walked into the private room, several young people rushed over. 0
"Welcome, welcome!" they cheered. 0
Before I could react, they suddenly raised the confetti poppers in their hands and sprayed them at me and Lu Hao. 0
"Bang! Bang! Bang!" Colorful ribbons and paper fell all around us. 0
"Hahaha! Surprise!" they laughed. 0

I was left speechless. 0
"Enough already," Lu Hao said helplessly. 0
"Sister-in-law, hello!" they suddenly shouted in unison. 0

Once again, I was at a loss for words. 0
"Don't scare her," Lu Hao said. 0
"Is she really that easy to scare?" one of the boys asked. 0
"She's not your sister-in-law," Lu Hao corrected them. 0
"Oh~" another boy said meaningfully, "We misunderstood." 0

I felt extremely awkward. 0
"Alright, stop teasing her," Lu Hao said, "Let's sit down and eat." 0

We took our seats one by one, and I looked around to find five other people besides me and Lu Hao. 0
"These are all my high school classmates," Lu Hao said to me. "This is Cao Da, this is Zhang Liang, this is Li Hao, this is Zhou Heng, and this is Wang Yu." 0

"Hello everyone," I greeted politely. 0
"Sister-in-law, hello!" they shouted again in unison. 0

I sighed and said, "Please stop calling me sister-in-law." 0
"What should we call you then?" He Da asked. 0
"My name is Li Ting," I introduced myself. 0
"Li Ting, nice to meet you!" Liu Jia said with a smile. 0
"Nice to meet you too," I nodded with a smile. 0

"How did you meet Lu Hao?" Zhang Hao asked curiously. 0
"We..." I hesitated for a moment. 0
"We met at the hospital," Lu Hao answered for me. 0
"The hospital?" He Da asked in surprise. 0
"Yes," Lu Hao nodded, "Li Ting was sick, and I happened to run into her." 0

"Is that so?" Li Heng said. 0
"Then you really are fated to be together," Zhou Yu remarked. 0
"Yeah," Liu Jia agreed. 0
"..." I fell silent. 0
I didn't know what to say, after all, my relationship with Lu Hao was not as they imagined. 0
But I didn't want to ruin their mood, so I chose to remain quiet. 0
We began our meal, chatting and drinking, the atmosphere was very lively. 0
I was also infected by their joy, temporarily forgetting my worries and immersing myself in their happiness. 0
After dinner, He Da suggested we celebrate Lu Hao's birthday. 0
"Happy Birthday to you!" we all said in unison. 0
"Thank you," Lu Hao smiled. 0
It was then that I realized today was Lu Hao's birthday. 0
I actually forgot! 0
"I'm sorry, I didn't prepare a birthday gift," I said apologetically. 0
"It's okay," Lu Hao replied, "Just having you here to celebrate with me makes me very happy." 0
"Mm." I nodded, secretly deciding that I would definitely make it up to him with a gift later. 0
We started cutting the cake; Liu Jia inserted the candles into the cake and then lit them. 0
Lu Hao closed his eyes, made a wish, and then blew out the candles. 0
We applauded in congratulations and then began to share the cake. 0
While Lu Hao wasn't paying attention, Liu Jia smeared a piece of cream on his face. 0
"What are you doing?" Lu Hao exclaimed in surprise. 0
"I've claimed your cake!" Liu Jia teased playfully. 0
"You little rascal!" Lu Hao laughed as he chased her around the room. 0
The others joined in the fun, either throwing cake at him or smearing cream on him. 0
Lu Hao couldn't dodge in time and soon turned into a big mess of cream on his face. 0
I couldn't help but laugh out loud. 0
"Don't laugh at me," Lu Hao said, "You can't escape either." 0
"Huh?" I was taken aback. 0
Before I could react, Lu Hao had already grabbed a piece of cake and was walking towards me. 0
"..." I immediately shut my mouth. 0
"Alright, you all stop messing around," He Da intervened, stopping Lu Hao, "We should head back now." 0

"Yeah, it's already quite late," Zhang Hao said. 0
"Alright then," Lu Hao had no choice but to give in. 0
We packed our things and left the restaurant. 0
Lu Hao had drunk quite a bit and was swaying as he walked. 0
I supported him and we slowly moved forward. 0
He was covered in cream, and the scent was rich. 0
I suddenly remembered the last time I got drunk when Lu Hao fed me water. 0
I couldn't help but laugh. 0
"What are you laughing at?" Lu Hao asked, confused. 0
"Nothing," I shook my head. 0
As we continued walking, I suddenly noticed a water basin ahead. 0
"I'm going to wash my face," I said. 0
"I'll go with you," Lu Hao replied. 0
"No need," I shook my head, "Just wait here." 0
"No way," Lu Hao insisted. 0
"..." I had no choice but to take him with me. 0
I squatted by the basin, dipped a tissue in the water, and wiped the cream off my face. 0
Lu Hao stood behind me, quietly watching me. 0
I felt something was off and turned to look at him. 0
His gaze was deep and gentle, like a tranquil lake, making it hard not to get lost in it. 0
"What's wrong?" I asked. 0
"Nothing," Lu Hao shook his head. 0
I turned back and continued washing my face. 0
Suddenly, Lu Hao grabbed my hand. 0
