In the Wujin Kingdom, although commoners hold a lowly status, they enjoy a comfortable and prosperous life. They are free to engage in business, work, marry, and raise children, fully relishing the joys of family life. However, they are not allowed to hold official positions, and there are regulations governing their travel and residence. Moreover, once they violate the law, the punishments are harsher than those for other social classes. 0

Nobles and officials are mostly hereditary. Their offspring enjoy privileges that commoners can hardly aspire to from the moment they are born. However, they are also bound by national laws and cannot act recklessly; otherwise, they will face severe penalties. The royal family maintains a clear system of rewards and punishments for nobles and officials—those who achieve merit are rewarded, while those who violate rules are punished without leniency. 0

Thus, while the Wujin Kingdom has a strict hierarchy, it also upholds the rule of law. People from all walks of life can live and work according to their status, each finding their place in society. Along the way, I observed orderly and prosperous scenes, which surely relate to this strict class system and clear reward-and-punishment policies. 0

In contrast, the various nations in the Central Plains advocate equality for all but suffer from frequent wars that leave common people displaced and homeless, leading to a much harsher existence. This thought made me sigh. 0

The Wujin Old Man noticed my expression and asked with concern, "Little brother, is the food not to your taste?" 0

I quickly waved my hand and replied, "You misunderstand, Wujin Old Man. The cuisine of your country is excellent and has truly opened our eyes. I was just thinking that despite the strict hierarchy in your nation, it is peaceful and stable, with everyone having their own support—truly a blessed land." 0

Hearing this, the Wujin Old Man smiled and said, "You make a valid point. However, every country has its unique aspects as well as its unspoken difficulties. To be honest with you, our Wujin Kingdom may seem vibrant on the surface but is actually fraught with crises." 0

As he spoke, he sighed and downed his drink in one gulp. The Wujin Old Man then informed us that the Wujin Kingdom reveres black as a noble and dignified color. Therefore, black utensils are primarily used by nobles, officials, and wealthy households; commoners mostly use wooden utensils. 0

I see! I smiled at the Wujin Old Man in gratitude as we took our seats. The Wujin Old Man and his wife sat at the central position while we gathered on either side. 0

The Azure Flower Maidens entered in succession, placing plates of delicacies on the table. Before I could take a good look at them, the Wujin Old Man stood up with both hands holding a wine jug and filled each of our glasses with wine while cheerfully saying, "Come now, let's first drink a toast to my Wujin Kingdom's fine wine to refresh ourselves!" 0

We all hurriedly held our cups with both hands and expressed our thanks one by one. Taking a gentle sip revealed that this wine was soft and rich at first taste but had a spicy aftertaste that was quite different from wines in the Central Plains. 0

After several cups of wine were downed, the atmosphere became even more lively. Everyone chatted happily while eating together. The Wujin Old Man and his wife were cheerful characters with engaging personalities; when they spoke, they were eloquent and animated. 0

From the customs and culture of the Wujin Kingdom to the famous landmarks, as well as the intriguing tales of the martial world and the diverse lives of its people, there is much to know and understand. 0

This conversation has given us a deeper insight into the Wujin Kingdom. The Wujin Old Man and his wife, though commoners, have traveled extensively and are well-informed. Their friendly nature has earned them many friends, making them sources of valuable information. 0
