The water remained clear, and the small fish continued to swim, as if everything from last night had never happened. We walked slowly by Xuanchi, contemplating how to deal with Qiu Long. As we walked, we suddenly noticed an unusual rock not far ahead. This rock was entirely black and smooth as a mirror. The top of the rock was slightly concave, as if it had been struck by something.
We exchanged glances and immediately approached it. Upon closer inspection, the rock stood over two meters tall and more than a meter wide, resembling a large inkstone quietly resting beside the water. A Meng reached out to touch the rock and knocked on it. The rock produced a crisp sound, suggesting that it might be hollow inside.
Hearing this, we couldn't help but feel excited. Could it be that there was some treasure hidden inside this rock? With that thought in mind, we began to dig. The ground around the rock was made of soft sand. After digging for a while, we managed to create a deep pit. Looking again, it seemed there was something beneath the rock.
We carefully cleared the sand around the rock and then lifted it with all our strength. Underneath the rock lay a long stone box, intricately carved with beautiful patterns. We cautiously opened the stone box, revealing a gleaming Treasure Blade inside. The sheath was adorned with colorful gemstones that sparkled brilliantly.
Upon seeing this, we erupted into cheers of joy. We never expected to find such treasure hidden on Xuanchi Mountain. I drew the Treasure Blade from its sheath and waved it lightly; a cold light flashed by, sending chills down our spines.
Xiao Xiao picked up the Sheath and examined it closely for a moment before suddenly exclaiming, "Look, there are words on it!"
A Meng and I hurried over, and upon closer inspection, we saw that the back of the Sheath was engraved with four large characters: Dragon-Slaying Sword.
We were all taken aback.
Dragon-Slaying Sword?
Could it be that this Treasure Blade was meant to deal with Qiu Long?
Thinking of this, we studied the Treasure Blade more carefully.
On the hilt, two flying dragons were carved.
Each dragon had a Pearl in its eye.
I pressed one of the Pearls, and suddenly, the blade extended, transforming into a Wolf Tooth Club.
We were startled and took a moment to process what had just happened.
It turned out that this Dragon-Slaying Sword was incredibly intricate.
The two Pearls on the hilt were mechanisms to control the blade's length.
As long as you pressed the Pearl, the blade would automatically extend or retract.
After trying it a few times, I became quite adept at it.
We discussed for a long time and finally came up with a plan to deal with Qiu Long.
The three of us and the dog cautiously climbed up Xuanchi Mountain and lay on the rocks to observe the movements in Xuanchi.
Even though we felt invigorated after drinking Xuan Can, prolonged inactivity made us gradually feel cold.
Just as we were about to get up and rest, bubbles suddenly appeared on the surface of the pool.
Then, with a muffled roar, water splashed as a pair of dragon horns emerged.
Behind the horns was a dragon head resembling a small hill.
Then, the dragon's body slowly rose, its scales glimmering under the moonlight.
This colossal creature was astonishingly huge.
It coiled on the water's surface like a small mountain, casting darkness over the entire Xuanchi water.
We huddled behind the rocks, so tense that we didn't dare to make a sound. We saw Qiu Long raise its head and hover in the air for a moment, seemingly having spotted us. We quickly shrank our necks in fear, afraid of being discovered by Qiu Long.
