On that bustling morning, Mo Yanyu's company welcomed an important business partner. The office was located in a high-rise building in the heart of the city, surrounded by a busy commercial area with bustling traffic and people coming and going.
The company's lobby was spacious and bright, with a modern design style and simple decoration that highlighted professionalism and sophistication. Mo Yanyu's office was located on a high floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a beautiful cityscape, and sunlight streaming through the glass, illuminating the entire room.
This morning, Mo Yanyu sat dignified behind his desk, his posture straight, his gaze focused, and a slight tension on his face. He was checking documents to ensure everything was prepared properly. Various documents and notebooks were neatly arranged on the desk, along with a laptop.
Meanwhile, Xingxing was playing in the corner of the office. Her big eyes curiously observed everything around her. She was wearing a pink dress and holding colorful building blocks, busy constructing her own little fortress.
Outside the door came the sound of footsteps, and a tall, well-dressed gentleman walked in slowly. His gaze fell on Xingchen, and his eyes lit up with surprise: "Is this your daughter? She's absolutely adorable!"
Mo Yanyu stood up and introduced to his business partner, "Yes, she's Lin Xingchen, my adopted daughter."
The partner walked towards the star and bent down to smile at her, saying, "Hello, little friend, my name is Mr. Li."
The star looked up at the stranger in front of her, hesitated for a moment, and then replied in her tender voice, "Hello, my name is Star."
Mr. Li was touched by the innocence of the child and asked with a smile, "Star, what are you playing with?"
Excitedly, Star pointed to his block fortress and said, "I'm building a house. Look, this is the living room, and this is the kitchen..."

On the side, Xingxing sat quietly on a small chair, holding a picture book and flipping through it attentively. She seemed to be accustomed to the atmosphere of her father's work, knowing to keep quiet at this time. Her presence added a touch of warmth to this professional and serious meeting.
The meeting lasted for over an hour, during which Mo Yanyu proposed several innovative collaboration plans. Mr. Li showed a high level of interest and approval. "Mr. Mo, your ideas are very forward-thinking. We are looking forward to collaborating with your team," Mr. Li said sincerely.

After the meeting, Mo Yanyu escorted Mr. Li to the door. Before leaving, Mr. Li said to Mo Yanyu, "Mr. Mo, your daughter is truly special. She made me feel the warmth of a family. If there's a chance, I hope to see her again."
Mr. Li left, and the office returned to its usual calm. Mo Yanyu returned to his seat, but his gaze kept falling on Xingxing from time to time. At noon, Mo Yanyu took Star to a restaurant near the company. The restaurant was elegantly decorated with warm lighting and soft background music, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. They chose a seat by the window, where they could see the bustling city street outside, with busy traffic and people coming and going, forming a dynamic scene.

Star sat in a high children's dining chair, curiously looking around, her little face filled with curiosity about this new environment. Her eyes were occasionally drawn to the vehicles outside the window, then turned to Mo Yanyu with a look of trust and reliance.
"Uncle Mo, there are so many cars here, and they're so fast!" Star excitedly pointed outside the window and said softly.
Mo Yanyu smiled slightly, turned to look outside the window, then turned back to Star and said, "Yes, Star, this is the city, there are a lot of vehicles. But we are safe here to have our meal." His voice was calm and gentle, carrying a reassuring strength.
The meal was quickly served, with a perfect combination of color, fragrance, and taste, which made Star's eyes light up. She happily picked up her fork and began to eat her favorite dish. Mo Yanyu quietly watched from the side, occasionally helping her pick up food or wiping away food residue from the corners of her mouth.

Star looked out the window and curiously asked, "Uncle Mo, where are all those cars going?"
Mo Yanyu smiled and replied, "They each have their own destination, just like how we come to the company every day, everyone has their own life."
Star listened intently, full of curiosity about the world. Mo Yanyu watched her with a faint smile in his eyes. He had never wasted time on such trivial matters before, but now, sharing these ordinary moments with Star was a kind of enjoyment for him.
After dinner, Mo Yanyu took Star back to the company. In his mind, Mr. Li's praise for Star occasionally surfaced, intertwining pride and worry. He realized that Star's presence not only changed his life but also had an impact on others. This made him more determined to protect this little life.
In the afternoon at work, while handling documents, Mo Yanyu occasionally looked up at the stars. Star was sitting in a corner of the office, quietly drawing, her focused appearance bringing a sense of tenderness to Mo Yanyu's heart.
"Uncle Mo, I'm done with my drawing!" Star ran over excitedly, holding a colorful artwork in her hand.
