They arrived just in time at eight o'clock. The sun slowly rose from the horizon, illuminating the entire sky. Li Xiaolu and Jijun stood hand in hand at the edge of the sea, watching the magnificent sunrise and feeling the charm of nature. They exchanged silent glances, with all their emotions unspoken. This moment was unforgettable for Li Xiaolu, as it was a sunrise they shared together, a sunrise that belonged only to the two of them. She would never forget this scene.
After watching the sunrise, they began their day of travel. Since Li Xiaolu had not fully recovered yet, their itinerary was relaxed and focused on comfort. They strolled along the romantic coast of Long Island, leaving their footprints behind. Jijun carried Li Xiaolu on his back, their shadows overlapping as laughter echoed on the beach. Li Xiaolu playfully wrapped her arms around Jijun's neck and deliberately blew into his ear. Jijun helplessly said, "Stop messing around." Li Xiaolu grinned and replied, "I'm just having fun." Jijun could do nothing but let her be.
In the evening, they went to watch the meteor shower. Unfortunately, they did not see the meteor shower they had anticipated. However, occasionally a meteor would streak across the night sky, lighting up the entire expanse above. Li Xiaolu watched a meteor and closed her eyes to make a silent wish. She hoped for a beautiful future with Jijun and wished that they could always be happy together. Jijun looked at her and asked, "What did you wish for?" Li Xiaolu replied mysteriously, "I won't tell you."
Jijun smiled and said, "I have good news for you. Although we didn't see the meteor shower, there will be another one next month."
Li Xiaolu's eyes lit up. "Really?"
Jijun nodded. "Yes."
Li Xiaolu was very happy. "Then let's come back to watch it together."
Jijun smiled again. "Sure."
Li Xiaolu felt a sense of anticipation in her heart.
Even though they didn't see the meteor shower this time, she didn't feel regretful because being with Jijun made her happy no matter what they were watching. She believed that as long as she was with Jijun, the future would be incredibly bright.

After watching the meteor shower, it was already quite late.
Li Xiaolu said, "Let's head back."
Jijun looked at her and asked, "Can you walk?"
Li Xiaolu nodded. "I should be able to."
Jijun stood up. "I'll carry you."
Li Xiaolu felt a bit shy. "No need, I can walk by myself."
Jijun frowned. "You haven't fully recovered yet; you can't walk for too long."
After hesitating for a moment, Li Xiaolu climbed onto Jijun's back.
Jijun carried her and started walking down the mountain.
The mountain path was quiet at night, with only the sound of their footsteps echoing.
Li Xiaolu looked at Jijun; his profile was handsome, with a high nose and slightly pursed lips.
Her heart suddenly raced wildly.
She quickly averted her gaze and looked elsewhere.
But she couldn't help but steal glances at Jijun's face again and again.
She felt like she had truly fallen under Jijun's spell.

As they walked halfway, it suddenly started to rain. The rain was light, but the wind rustled the leaves, creating an eerie atmosphere. Li Xiaolu felt a bit scared. She tightly hugged Jijun's neck, burying her face in his shoulder.
Jijun sensed her trembling and softly said, "Don't be afraid, I'm here." Li Xiaolu nodded, "Mm." Jijun quickened his pace.
Before long, they arrived at the parking lot. Jijun helped Li Xiaolu into the passenger seat and fastened her seatbelt. He gently stroked her hair and reassured her, "It's okay now." Li Xiaolu nodded again, "Mm."
Jijun smiled and said, "You can sleep for a while; I'll wake you up when we arrive." Li Xiaolu shook her head, "I can't sleep." She looked at him and asked, "Are you tired?"
Jijun replied, shaking his head, "I'm not tired." Li Xiaolu said, "Then stay with me and chat for a bit." Jijun nodded, "Okay." He started the engine and drove away.
Throughout the journey, Li Xiaolu kept finding topics to talk about with Jijun. Jijun was very patient; no matter what Li Xiaolu said, he responded. It wasn't until Li Xiaolu could no longer keep her eyes open that she fell into a deep sleep. Jijun looked at her and smiled indulgently.
