I said, "Don't get confused at school. Do you know how scary you were just now? I greeted you, and you completely ignored me." 0

Liang Xi looked puzzled and said, "Did you greet me? I didn't notice." 0

I was taken aback. Didn't notice? He had clearly looked at me earlier! Maybe it was because I was sleeping too far back, and he couldn't see me clearly? I didn't dwell on it too much and asked him why he brought the little ghost to class. Liang Xi said he was afraid of it getting stolen, so he kept it close for reassurance. 0

I replied, "You won't have to worry about that anymore. I'm going to Thailand soon, and I'll take the little ghost away later. You won't have to be anxious anymore." 0

Liang Xi looked at me and suddenly grabbed the Ling Gui Tu Pai Ying from the table, saying, "Don't take it away. I'll continue to offer for you. After all, your injury hasn't healed yet, and you're not mobile. I'll give it back to you when you return from Thailand." 0

I was quite surprised. This guy had been so afraid of the little ghost, yet now he not only carried it with him but also wanted to help me with the offerings. I hesitated for a moment, but after Liang Xi persuaded me for a while and with Second Uncle's assurance, I eventually agreed to let him offer for the little ghost. 0

Not long after, Hu Xiaoyi returned to the dormitory. When he saw me back, he was both surprised and delighted. We chatted for a bit, and when I mentioned I was going to Thailand, Hu Xiaoyi's expression became somewhat complicated. He still hadn't gotten over the unexpected incident with our leader Zhang Qichao. I understood and decided not to bring it up again. However, Hu Xiaoyi secretly told me that Liang Xi had been acting a bit strange in recent days. 0

Sometimes in the middle of the night when he got up to use the bathroom, he would see Liang Xi standing in front of the table mumbling to himself or pacing around the room as if he were very agitated. Moreover, he often did things inexplicably and later claimed not to remember them. I suggested that he might be under too much pressure and needed more encouragement; he should go out and have fun instead of always being cooped up in his room studying—being alone could lead to problems even if there weren't any initially. 0

Since we didn't know when Second Uncle would return, Hu Xiaoyi and Liang Xi took me to the cafeteria for a meal. On the way, we ran into Qin Senior Sister. She came over to greet me when she saw me. Chatting with someone as pure and beautiful as Qin Senior Sister in a calm atmosphere was quite pleasant. I asked her if the amulet she took had any effect. 0

When it came to this topic, Qin Senior Sister had mixed feelings. Her sister had put her boyfriend's name and birthday into a Symbolic Pipe using Harmony Oil, and within a few days they got back together. At first, perhaps out of guilt, her boyfriend was very compliant. But gradually they began arguing frequently over trivial matters, and his temper grew increasingly irritable. Just three days ago, they had even gotten into a physical altercation over something minor. 0

Seeing her sister's bruised face made Qin Senior Sister very angry; she believed there was no point in trying to salvage such a man. However, her sister thought differently—after finally getting back together, how could she bear to break up again? Besides, arguments were just differences in opinion; they didn't necessarily indicate anything else. In any case, no matter what anyone said, she refused to agree to a breakup. 0

Before meeting me, Qin Senior Sister had just spoken with her sister on the phone and learned that they had fought again today—this time even worse than before; her sister had seven or eight stitches on her forehead and was lying in the hospital. 0

Qin Senior Sister unhappily asked me, "Didn't you say that amulet could help them reconcile? Why are they still fighting every few days?" 0

I replied, "Reconciliation is one thing; fighting is another. Fighting indicates they're not suited for each other; you should advise your sister well instead of blaming it on the amulet." 0

Of course, Qin Senior Sister understood this logic as well; she said, "If I could convince her, I would have done so already. I don't know what spell she's under—this guy has no good qualities and plenty of flaws; he's just slightly handsome—what good is that? Handsomeness can't be eaten." 0

Hu Xiaoyi smiled and said, "Senior Sister, a man's good looks can also be a meal ticket. Haven't you heard of rich women keeping men?" 0

"Keep your nonsense to yourself!" Qin Senior Sister shot him a glare and then asked me if there was a way to reconcile without the two of them arguing. 0

I said of course there was, but this time I couldn't pay for it again. Qin Senior Sister huffed and said, "You're so stingy; no wonder you don't have a girlfriend!" 0

I retorted, "Don't act like being generous means you'd be my girlfriend." 0

Qin Senior Sister's face turned slightly red, and she stomped her foot, asking me to help her find a better Amulet so she wouldn't have to listen to her sister's nagging every day. I told her I would be going back to Thailand in a few days and would look for one then. If I found it, I would send it to her at school. Of course, it was only natural to jot down her phone number as well. 0

After that, Qin Senior Sister returned to the dormitory while we went to the cafeteria to satisfy our hunger. To my surprise, after two weeks away, more people at school recognized me. Many had heard from Qin Senior Sister that I sold her sister an Amulet that was very effective. Due to the halo effect, quite a few people came to inquire about the Amulet. 0

Although Zheng Xuezhang's family made me wary of the Amulet, it did not diminish my desire to make money. After all, among the students, only a few dared to buy ghostly items; most just wanted an Authentic piece for psychological comfort. 0

Because there were too many people and some were just there for fun, I had to inform them that anyone wanting to buy an Amulet needed to pay a deposit first. Once in Thailand, we would send everything together back to school, with Hu Xiaoyi collecting the final payment as previously arranged. 0

As soon as they heard they had to pay upfront, many turned around and left immediately. I looked down on such people. After finishing our meal, eight people ended up paying the deposit. It seemed like a lot, but the profit wasn't significant; roughly calculated, it was just over a thousand. Hu Xiaoyi looked envious; he taught elementary students piano on weekends and earned only a few hundred a month. In just this one meal's time, I made what he would earn in two months. 0

I smiled and said that family members shouldn't talk about business matters; if he really wanted to get into this line of work, I could help him source products. Hu Xiaoyi hesitated; his family situation was decent and he didn't really need money. However, he was quite artistic and reluctant to rely on his family; otherwise, he wouldn't be working so hard teaching piano. 0

After spending the afternoon at school, Second Uncle returned in the evening. From his cheerful expression, it seemed he had successfully closed a deal. Curious, I asked how much he made this time; Second Uncle held up five fingers for me to guess. I hesitated and guessed "thousand," but when he shook his head, I didn't dare guess further. 0

I initially thought making over a thousand from one meal was great, but Second Uncle made at least fifty thousand in just one afternoon. Comparing ourselves was infuriating! 0

After saying goodbye to Hu Xiaoyi, Second Uncle bought some specialties from the mainland as gifts for Grandpa under my name. He usually appeared carefree but was actually quite meticulous; sometimes it made me admire him. 0

Regarding the evil spirit attached to me, Second Uncle did not tell anyone else about it—not even Grandpa knew. He repeatedly warned me never to let Grandpa find out; otherwise, my life would be in danger. I laughed heartily and said it sounded more like his life was in danger. Second Uncle shot me a glare and said, "Isn't it your fault?" 0

When we arrived in Bangkok, Grandpa had been waiting for quite some time; he even cooked several dishes himself. However, when Second Uncle and I took bites of the food, it felt like we were eating bitter melon. Grandpa kindly brought over some glasses of milk and smiled as he stepped aside. 0

Grandpa picked up his wine glass and took a sip, saying to Second Uncle, "After dinner, let's head to Nanbang. Someone is in a bit of trouble that needs sorting out." 0

As he spoke, he handed over a piece of paper with something written on it in Thai, likely an address. Second Uncle took it and stuffed it into his pocket, nodding that he understood. I glanced at him but didn't dare to ask when we would go find Azan Kunsha, so I just focused on my meal. 0

After dinner, Grandpa intended to chat with me casually, but my mind was occupied with the evil spirit on me, leaving me little interest in conversation. Using the excuse of gaining experience, I followed Second Uncle out of the house. Second Uncle clearly understood my thoughts and said as we stepped outside, "Why are you in such a hurry? That Spirit Child won't cause any trouble for a while." 0

I chuckled and replied, "It's just that I feel safe being around you." 0

Who wouldn't like to hear such words? Second Uncle was no exception; he laughed and shook his head without saying anything more. Nanbang was quite far from Bangkok; I remembered that Second Uncle drove for nearly eight or nine hours to reach our destination. I dozed off in the car and when I opened my eyes again, it was already dark. 0

When we got out of the car, we found ourselves at a villa. Second Uncle knocked on the door loudly, unbothered by the late hour. It wasn't long before the door opened and a man came out to inquire about our visit. After a brief conversation with Second Uncle, the man quickly invited us inside. 0

This villa was comparable in size to Grandpa's, but while Grandpa's decorations were mostly infused with local Thai characteristics, this place was predominantly styled in Chinese fashion. Noticing my surprise, Second Uncle explained that this client was an Overseas Chinese who hadn't been in Thailand for long and preferred things from home. 0

We sat on the sofa waiting as the man who had opened the door soon brought us two cups of coffee. From his demeanor and behavior, he seemed to be a person of similar standing as Gai. A few minutes later, a middle-aged man in a bathrobe came down from upstairs. Second Uncle shook hands with him and began asking about the specifics of the situation. 0

The man looked quite haggard with messy hair and didn't appear to fit the image of a wealthy individual at all. He introduced himself as Mr. Lu and mentioned that he was involved in import-export trade. The reason he sought out Second Uncle was that he had recently encountered a streak of bad luck. 0

A few years ago, he had come to Thailand to start a company when the Asian Financial Crisis had already begun. The overall economy in Thailand was far from good, which made his import-export business quite challenging. During the toughest times, he even had to sell off domestic properties just to pay his employees' salaries. His wife couldn't bear the hardship and returned to her family with their child, not coming back for several years. 0

Later on, as Thailand's economy gradually improved and exports increased, his company began to thrive again. Thus, six months ago, he brought his wife and child back home. 0
