The sound of water flowed gently, like the wind, brushing through Yin Yuchen's heart. His mind was in chaos. Various thoughts surged back and forth in his head, nearly driving him to the brink of losing control. He couldn't help but grip Yulin's hand tightly, his strength increasing.
"Ah!" Yulin suddenly exclaimed. She stepped on a patch of moss, her foot slipped, and she instinctively began to fall backward—Yin Yuchen immediately pulled her into his embrace with all his might.
"Senior Sister!" He held Yulin tightly, as if trying to meld her into his very being. Yulin nestled in Yin Yuchen's arms, her heart racing with fear.
"That was close," she said, patting her chest. "Thank goodness you were here; otherwise, I would have fallen."
Yin Yuchen remained silent. He held Yulin close, feeling her presence as his breath quickened. He had a perfect opportunity now. He could take his senior sister away, to anywhere he desired. Given her current state, she had no strength to resist him.
He wanted to take her away; he wanted to possess her entirely, to make her belong solely to him. The urge surged within him, his blood screaming for him to act on it. But…
He lowered his gaze at Yulin in his arms. She nestled against him without any guard, harboring no doubt about his intentions. She trusted him completely, seeing him as her support.
He couldn't do this. He couldn't hurt her.
Yin Yuchen closed his eyes and held Yulin even tighter. He desperately wanted to take Yulin away from here. He wanted to lead her away from Dragon Tooth Immortal Mountain and hide among the vast sea of mortals, ensuring she could never leave him again. Once this thought took root, it spread wildly in his heart, becoming impossible to suppress.
He wanted to do this.
He really wanted to do this.
But he couldn't.
He didn't dare.
He didn't dare to do anything inappropriate to Yulin, didn't dare to scare her, didn't dare to hurt her.
Even now, when Yulin had no defenses against him, he still couldn't convince himself to take action against her.
She trusted him so much, relied on him.
He couldn't do this.
He must not hurt her.
Yin Yuchen kept telling himself in his heart.

He couldn't have any inappropriate thoughts about Yulin.

Yulin lay in Yin Yuchen's arms, feeling a bit awkward.
"Yuchan."
She said softly, "I'm fine now; you can let go of me."
Only then did Yin Yuchen come back to his senses.
He quickly released Yulin, stepping back and lowering his gaze.
"I'm sorry, Senior Sister."
His voice was very soft: "I... I was just too worried about you."
"I'm fine."
Yulin smiled: "You don't need to be so nervous."
She looked around a bit.
"You said you would take me to see the fish; where are they?"
"Right in front."
Yin Yuchen said softly: "Senior Sister, come with me."
He instinctively reached out, wanting to hold Yulin's hand.
But halfway through, he stopped again.
He didn't dare to hold her hand.
He was afraid that once he held her, he would never be able to let go.
"Senior Sister, the stones here are covered in moss and very slippery."
"Be careful."
"Okay."
Yulin nodded, "I understand, I will be careful."
She followed Yin Yuchen closely, taking cautious steps forward.
Yin Yuchen walked slowly, each step taken with care, worried that Yulin might fall.
"Senior Sister, be careful."
"There's a stone here that's very slippery; hold on to me tightly."
"Okay."
Yulin followed Yin Yuchen, stepping carefully over the small stream.
Yin Yuchen led Yulin to the edge of a pool, pointing at the clear blue water.
"Senior Sister, look."
"This is what I wanted to show you."
As dusk approached and the sun began to set,
Yin Yuchen picked up a stone from the ground and threw it into the pool.

The calm surface of the water rippled, and two fish of different colors swam playfully in the water, lively and adorable.
"Is it beautiful?"
Yin Yuchen looked at Yulin with soft eyes.
"This is what I wanted to share with you."
