If time could forever stay in this moment, how wonderful that would be. He was with her, for a lifetime. However, he knew deep down that he couldn't do that. He couldn't scare her. He took a deep breath, forcing down his thoughts, and slowly walked forward with her.
After a while, they finally arrived at their destination. "Senior Sister, look," Yin Yuchen said softly, pointing to the pond ahead. "That's the Lotus Pendant." Yulin followed his gaze and indeed saw two giant fish swimming in the water. One was pure black and the other pure white, looking quite magical.
"Wow, they're huge," Yulin exclaimed. "This is the first time I've seen such large Lotus Pendants."
"Yes," Yin Yuchen replied with a smile. "If we made soup out of them, it would definitely be nourishing."
Yulin couldn't help but chuckle at his comment. "That's an interesting idea."
"Of course," Yin Yuchen said with a grin. "I have quite a bit of knowledge when it comes to food."
"Really?" Yulin blinked, feeling a bit curious. "What dishes can you make?"
"I can make many dishes," Yin Yuchen replied with a smile. "When there's an opportunity in the future, I'll cook for you."
"Sounds great!"
Yulin smiled.
She felt increasingly close to Yin Yuchen.
She thought that this Junior Brother was not only gentle and kind but also a great cook.
If she could become friends with him, wouldn’t she be in for a treat in the future?
She was very much looking forward to it.
“Senior Sister.”
Yin Yuchen looked at Yulin, a hint of tenderness flashing in his eyes.
“These two fish have already developed spiritual intelligence.”
“So, we cannot eat them.”
“We need to raise them and let them cultivate properly.”
“Only then can they achieve enlightenment and become immortals.”
Yulin was a bit surprised upon hearing this.

She looked at the Lotus Pendant in the water, feeling quite delighted. However, she hadn't been watching for long when a Lotus Pendant suddenly splashed water all over her face.
"Pfft—"
She chuckled lightly, instantly snapping back to reality.
"These fish are really mischievous."
"Senior Sister," Yin Yuchen said softly, "you should wipe your face."
"Okay."
Yulin replied and took the handkerchief that Yin Yuchen handed her, wiping her face. As she looked at the handkerchief in her hand, her curiosity grew even more. What exactly was this Junior Brother's background?
"Junior Sister."
A cool voice rang out.
Yulin's heart trembled as she looked up. Not far ahead, Xiao Qiuyu was standing there, coldly staring at her.
"Senior Brother..."
Yulin felt increasingly guilty. She lowered her head, not daring to meet his gaze. She had known since childhood that although her Senior Brother appeared indifferent, he was very strict in his actions. This time, she had run out and gotten herself into such a mess; he would definitely be angry. She felt a bit at a loss.
