In the late night, after midnight, Yan Chuan Street appeared somewhat desolate due to the cold winter weather.
On the road, Fu Weiheng drove slowly, with soft and serene music playing from the car's audio system. He had only consumed one drink tonight, and by now, the effects of the alcohol had mostly worn off.
Su Wan leaned against her seat, her complexion flushed. Her beautiful almond-shaped eyes were misty, glimmering with a warm light, full of tenderness. Perhaps due to the influence of alcohol, she was unreserved and stared directly at the man in the driver's seat. She reached out and poked his shoulder, then suddenly realized, "Neil, that Sequined Skirt has her eyes on you..."
Fu Weiheng smiled lightly and glanced at her. "Are you jealous?"
Su Wan turned her head. "…No."
"What are you afraid of?" He focused on the road, made a turn, his voice low and clear. "As long as you want me, I'm all yours."
Su Wan bit her lip and chuckled to herself while looking out the window. Turning back to him, she teased, "What if I don't want you?"
"Your willingness is merely a reference; it won't determine the final outcome," he replied. "What matters is that I want you."
Su Wan: "…"
This guy! So unreasonable!
The car drove steadily into the underground parking garage. Su Wan furrowed her brow and sat up straight to look at the brightly lit garage. "Aren't we going back to the dorm?"
He shifted into reverse, casually maneuvering the car into the parking space while keeping an eye on the monitor on the display. Only then did he say, "Once you're in my car, you have to come with me."
Su Wan choked slightly, shooting him an annoyed glare before unbuckling her seatbelt and getting out of the car.
Due to the previous experience, Su Wan remained silent as she leaned against a corner of the elevator during their ride upstairs. Fu Weiheng glanced at her, standing far away from him, a smirk playing on his lips as he pressed the button for the upper floor without changing his expression.
When they reached the apartment door, Fu Weiheng entered the code for the lock and pushed the door open. He glanced at Su Wan, who was leaning against the doorframe, and gestured for her to go in first. She looked up at him and obediently stepped inside.
The room was pitch black. Fu Weiheng slowly closed the door, shutting out the only source of light from outside. Just as Su Wan turned to ask him to turn on the lights, she felt a sudden warmth around her waist. Fu Weiheng's strong arm wrapped tightly around her, and with a slight shift of his body, he pressed her firmly against the white wall.
Su Wan was taken aback; before she could process what was happening, her mouth was sealed shut by his kiss. He pried her lips apart and his tongue surged in, sending an invisible current racing through her chest, making her feel hot all over.
He seemed somewhat unsatisfied; tightening his grip around her waist, he pulled her closer until their bodies were pressed tightly together with no gaps between them.
After a long moment, he slightly released her lips, his nose brushing against hers as his voice turned husky. "Ignoring me? Hmm?"
Su Wan stammered, "I... um..."
He lowered his head and kissed her fiercely again, his fingers gripping her chin as he said, "Didn't you say you love me? Hmm? Why not put in a little more effort?"
At that moment, the clouds parted just right, and moonlight flowed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the balcony. In that moonlit glow, Su Wan saw his deep-set eyes shining brightly.
Su Wan knew exactly what he meant; her face flushed as she breathed lightly and weakly pushed against him, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm tired..."
"Mm." He responded softly, but the hand around her waist did not loosen.
Su Wan was exasperated and raised her voice, "Fu Weiheng, I want to go to bed!"
He lifted his other hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, looking down at her with a charming smile, "Some things really are better handled in bed."
"..." Su Wan was taken aback, feeling embarrassed and exposed. She pushed his hand away from her waist and walked straight toward the bedroom under the moonlight.
Fu Weiheng chuckled helplessly and followed her into the bedroom, turning on the light. "There are pajamas and clean clothes in the closet."
Su Wan glanced at him, confused.
"I bought them a few days ago." Fu Weiheng took a few steps to open the closet and pulled out a new set of cotton pajamas. He also casually picked up a pair of women's underwear and handed it to her.
Su Wan took it, and when she saw the underwear, her ears turned hot. She hugged the pajamas and hurried into the bathroom.
