Fu Weiheng glanced at her sideways, rinsing off the last bowl with a puzzled smile: "How about using them on you instead?"
Su Wan was taken aback, quickly realizing what he meant. Her face flushed instantly as she shot him an annoyed glare and turned to head into the living room.
Fu Weiheng watched her graceful figure before rinsing his hands again. After drying them leisurely, he walked into the living room.
Su Wan was sitting on the sofa with a cushion in her arms, holding the remote control to turn on the TV.
He walked over and ruffled her hair gently, saying softly, "Put on your coat; we're going out."
Su Wan looked up at him, "Are we going to the supermarket?"
Her obedient expression made his heart flutter. He rubbed her hair again and leaned down to kiss her lips lightly: "Yeah."
Su Wan had long been accustomed to Mr. Fu's daily ambushes. She nodded, set aside the cushion, and got up in her slippers to grab her coat from the bedroom.

On the last day of 2016, just like any other day, traffic was bustling and people were hurrying about.
It was still early when Fu Weiheng finally drove to a large imported supermarket on Zhanghe Road.
The supermarket was vast, with a wide variety of items available.
Upon entering, they pushed a shopping cart straight to the produce section.
Fu Weiheng couldn't cook and was naturally clueless about selecting vegetables and fruits. Su Wan looked at the fresh vegetables still glistening with dew and tilted her head to ask Fu Weiheng, "Do you eat mushrooms?"
He glanced at the fresh black mushrooms while holding the shopping cart. "Anything is fine."
Su Wan smiled, picked up a bag of mushrooms, then walked to another section to grab a broccoli, a carrot, and a white radish.
While weighing the items, Su Wan thought of something and raised her gaze to ask him, "Neil, what kind of soup do you want? Is fish soup okay?"
"Sure." Fu Weiheng gently took the weighed broccoli from the supermarket clerk's hand. "I'll eat whatever you make."
Hearing Fu Weiheng's words, the supermarket clerk looked up at the handsome couple, her face lighting up with a smile. She turned to Su Wan and said, "You are really lucky, there aren't many men who are this considerate of their wives nowadays."
Upon hearing the word "wife," Su Wan shyly glanced at the clerk and smiled subtly.
Fu Weiheng smiled as he placed the last mushrooms into the cart. "It's my luck."
Su Wan noticed the deepening smile in the clerk's eyes and felt her ears heat up inexplicably. After thanking the auntie, she hurriedly pulled Fu Weiheng toward the fresh meat section.
She glanced at the ribs on her left and then at the beef brisket on her right before turning to him with sparkling eyes. "Do you want beef brisket?"
He naturally replied, "Sure."
After buying the meat, she chose some shrimp and then went to the seasoning section to buy some cooking spices. After confirming several times that nothing was missed, they pushed their cart to the cashier to check out.
When the cashier announced the total price, Su Wan just reached for her wallet when Fu Weiheng stepped forward first, handing his card to the cashier. She paused with her wallet in hand, glanced at him awkwardly, and finally put her wallet away silently.
It was better not to flaunt money in front of the benefactor...
Later, while taking the elevator down to the underground parking lot with their purchases, Su Wan had a thought and pretended to glare at him, her tone slightly serious. "Didn’t I say I would support you? Why did you pay?"
Fu Weiheng shot her a sidelong glance, unfazed. "Well, today’s payment will be deducted from your salary."

The car drove slowly onto the road. To avoid distracting him, Su Wan quietly played on her phone in the passenger seat.
She opened WeChat and noticed that the dormitory group was unusually quiet. She was a bit surprised and glanced at the time; it was eleven o'clock. After such indulgence last night, the two of them were probably still wrapped up in their blankets, not waking up until the afternoon. No wonder there were no messages at all.
At the traffic light, Fu Weiheng slowed down and stopped, turning his head to look at her. "What are you planning to cook?"
