Yui shrank her neck and muttered, "It's an accident!"
Outside, it had started to rain at some unknown time, and a refreshing breeze blew in from the cave entrance, with the firelight flickering intermittently.
In that moment, Yui's pupils brightened. Ignoring the pain in her body, she propped herself up and was about to head outside.
"What are you doing?"
Although Noa's voice remained cold, there was a hint of concern in it. Yui thought to herself, are all human children so contradictory?
She smiled at Noa and said, "It's raining. I'm going out to get soaked; it will help my injuries heal faster."
What kind of logic is that? As long as getting wet doesn't worsen the condition, it can heal wounds? Noa had already automatically disregarded her being a Child of Rain.
Yui helplessly scratched her head. "If you don't believe me, just follow me."
She stepped out of the cave first, and Noa hesitated before following her.
The sky was a dull gray, with occasional flashes of red light. The dark clouds pressed down heavily, and the raindrops fell faster and faster, creating ripples on the ground.
As soon as Yui exited the cave, she formed a hand seal, and a layer of mist enveloped her body. Then she rose into the air, gradually floating upwards.
Noah looked at Yui, his pupils constantly shifting, his gaze following her intently.
Yui rose into the air, her arms slightly outstretched, eyes closed, head gently tilted back, inhaling the essence of the rain. Layers of breath encircled her, as if she had entered a transparent protective shield.
Her sleeves floated without wind, strands of hair brushed against her cheeks, flowing gracefully like water. Her figure was as soft as water, appearing and disappearing intermittently.
In that moment, she was breathtakingly beautiful. A beauty untouched by the dust of the world, stunning and heart-stopping.
Noah had never known that a person could be so quiet yet so impactful to another. He watched silently, everything around him still, except for his slightly frantic heart, beating wildly.

Nourished by the rain, Yui's body began to recover rapidly; her wounds had already scabbed over.
Noah's gaze at Yui was no longer cold as before but carried a hint of confusion, a touch of curiosity, and an indescribable feeling.
