Shen Mengyao sat helplessly on the ground, her once exquisite makeup ruined by tears. In the empty room, the only thing that flickered was the words “Starshine Entertainment Statement” on her phone screen, piercing her nerves like sharp knives.
“It’s impossible… how could this happen…” she murmured, her voice trembling with despair. Everything she had meticulously planned, which she thought was foolproof, had ended in such a complete failure.
"Ding ding ding..." The urgent sound of the doorbell rang out. Shen Mengyao suddenly lifted her head, a glimmer of hope flashing in her eyes. Perhaps it was her manager or a friend coming to help her think of a solution...
She stumbled to her feet and rushed to the door, yanking it open forcefully.
“You…” Upon seeing who it was, Shen Mengyao's hope instantly turned to terror. Standing at the door were several staff members in uniforms.
With expressionless faces, they presented their identification. “Ms. Shen Mengyao, we have received a report that you are suspected of spreading false information and damaging others' reputations. Please come with us.”
Shen Mengyao's face turned pale as she attempted to close the door, but one of the staff members blocked her way. “Ms. Shen, please cooperate with our work.”

“Jingshen, thank you.” Lynn Xingchen looked at the news on her phone about Shen Mengyao being blacklisted, feeling a mix of emotions. Although Shen Mengyao got what she deserved, Lynn did not feel as happy as she had imagined.
Lu Jingshen gently held her hand, his tone soft. “As long as you’re okay, don’t worry; I’ll take care of everything.” His deep gaze held a hint of concern; he knew that while Lynn appeared strong on the outside, she remained kind and soft-hearted deep down.
“But…” Lynn hesitated, wanting to ask Lu Jingshen about what would happen to the the Shen Family since they were a prominent family in City A.
Seemingly seeing through her thoughts, Lu Jingshen smiled lightly. “I will handle matters regarding the the Shen Family; you don’t need to worry about it.” He paused before continuing, “You should know that I never leave behind any troubles when I do things.”
Lynn's heart trembled; there was an undeniable authority in Lu Jingshen's calm tone.

On a sunny afternoon, Lynn Xingchen and Lu Jingshen walked side by side in the park.
"Xingchen, you've worked hard during this time." Lu Jingshen stopped and looked at her gently.
Lynn Xingchen smiled slightly, "It's okay, everything is in the past now."
"Tonight, I have a surprise for you," Lu Jingshen said mysteriously, winking.
Lynn Xingchen asked curiously, "What surprise?"
Lu Jingshen didn't answer, just took her hand and continued walking forward. "Just follow me and you'll find out."
As the sun set, the sky was painted with a layer of golden light.
Lu Jingshen brought Lynn Xingchen to a restaurant. As soon as they entered, Lynn Xingchen was stunned by the sight before her.
The restaurant was decorated warmly and romantically, with flowers, balloons, candlelight, and familiar friends and family, along with...
"Dad, Mom?" Lynn Xingchen looked incredulously at her parents sitting among the crowd.
Father Lin and Mother Lin smiled with joy upon seeing her.
"Xingchen, long time no see," Father Lin said as he stood up and opened his arms to her.
Lynn Xingchen felt a lump in her throat, tears streaming down her face as she rushed into her father's embrace, unable to speak through her sobs.
Lu Jingshen walked over to her side and gently wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Xingchen, welcome home."
Lynn Xingchen looked up at him through tear-filled eyes.
In that moment, she finally understood that what Lu Jingshen had done for her was far more than just solving the troubles she faced; he had given her a true home.
