"Granny Wang, you wicked old woman, may you suffer a terrible fate," Chen Shuying cursed as she walked. 0

"Sister Chen, don't worry, Xiao Liang will be fine," a villager who was familiar with the situation comforted her. 0

"Mm," Chen Shuying replied, still feeling anxious inside. 0

She followed the villager to the Wang family home and as soon as she entered, she saw Granny Wang holding Xiao Liang. 0

"Xiao Liang, my grandson, you finally came back," Granny Wang cried out. 0

"Wah wah wah, I want my mommy," Xiao Liang sobbed. 0

"Grandma misses you too. Why don't you come back and see what happened to Grandma?" Granny Wang said tearfully. 0

"Wah wah wah, I want my mommy," Xiao Liang continued to cry out. 0

"You old hag, let go of my son," Chen Shuying rushed over, trying to snatch Xiao Liang away. 0

"You shameless woman, how dare you insult my mother," Wang Changgui shouted angrily. 0

"You filthy dog, how dare you hit my son," Chen Shuying yelled back. 0

"You..." Wang Changgui was about to retort but was interrupted by Granny Wang. 0

" Changgui, don't argue with her; she's just a shrew," Granny Wang said. 0

"You are the shrew; your whole family is a bunch of shrews," Chen Shuying shouted in anger. 0

"You shameless woman, how dare you curse our whole family," Wang Changgui fumed. 0

"Everyone shut up," Chen Shuying yelled loudly. 0

At her shout, everyone fell silent. 0

"Xiao Liang, come here and go home with Mommy," Chen Shuying said to Xiao Liang. 0

"Mm," Xiao Liang responded and reached out his hands toward Chen Shuying. 0

Just as Chen Shuying was about to reach out to him, Granny Wang pulled her away. 0

"No way, Xiao Liang cannot go with you," Granny Wang said firmly. 0

"That's right; Xiao Liang is our grandson from the Wang family. You can't take him away." 0

"You... you are being unreasonable," Chen Shuying said angrily. 0

"Hmph, we are being unreasonable. What can you do about it?" Wang Changgui said smugly. 0

"You... I'm going to fight you!" Chen Shuying said as she prepared to confront Wang Changgui. 0

Seeing this, Granny Wang quickly stepped in to mediate. 0

In an instant, the courtyard was in chaos. 0

In the large courtyard, everyone paused with their chopsticks when they saw Chen Shuying leave. 0

" Xiaoxiao, what happened?" an Aunt asked. 0

"Sister Chen's child was taken by the Wang family," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied. 0

"What? They are going too far," the Aunt said angrily. 0

"Exactly, they just got divorced yesterday, and today they sneakily take the child away. How shameless," an Uncle chimed in. 0

"Let's go support Sister Chen," one Aunt suggested. 0

"Yes, we can't let Sister Chen be bullied," another Aunt agreed. 0

"Let's go help," an older brother said. 0

"Okay." Everyone responded and hurriedly left. 0

After they left, only Zhang Xiaoxiao remained in the courtyard. 0

"Hey, why did everyone leave?" Zhao Guangcai came out from the the Chen Family and saw the empty courtyard, so he asked. 0

"Sister Chen's child was taken by the Wang family, and the fellow villagers went to help," Zhang Xiaoxiao explained. 0

"What? They are going too far," Zhao Guangcai said angrily. 0

"Yes, Sister Chen is really pitiful," Zhang Xiaoxiao said sadly. 0

"Wife, don't be sad; we will help her," Zhao Guangcai comforted her. 0

"Okay." Zhang Xiaoxiao replied softly. 0

"What about this food?" Zhao Guangcai asked, looking at the dishes on the table. 0

"If we take it down now, it will be cold by the time they come back," Zhang Xiaoxiao said. 0

"What should we do?" Zhao Guangcai frowned. 0

"I have an idea." Zhang Xiaoxiao suddenly thought of a solution. 0

"What idea?" Zhao Guangcai asked curiously. 0

"We can use a steamer to keep it warm, so when they come back, the food will still be hot," Zhang Xiaoxiao suggested. 0

"Right! How did I not think of that?" Zhao Guangcai realized suddenly. 0

"Hehe, it's because you're silly," Zhang Xiaoxiao said with a grin. 0
"Oh really? You dare to call me silly," Zhao Guangcai pretended to be angry. 0
"Aren't you silly?" Zhang Xiaoxiao retorted. 0
"I'm not silly," Zhao Guangcai denied. 0
"Hehe, you're not silly, you're smart," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied dismissively. 0
"That's more like it," Zhao Guangcai said, satisfied. 0
"Alright, hurry up and get the Steamer," Zhang Xiaoxiao urged. 0
"Okay," Zhao Guangcai responded and then went to the kitchen to get the Steamer. 0
He cleaned the Steamer thoroughly and placed it on the table. 0
"Wife, you hold the bowl, and I'll serve the rice," Zhao Guangcai said. 0
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied, holding the bowl and standing aside. 0
Zhao Guangcai scooped rice into the bowl, and Zhang Xiaoxiao placed it into the Steamer. 0
The two worked together seamlessly and soon had all the rice in the Steamer. 0
"Finally done," Zhang Xiaoxiao said contentedly as she looked at the food in the Steamer. 0
"Mm," Zhao Guangcai replied. 0
"Brother Zhao, you go rest; I'll take care of this," Zhang Xiaoxiao said. 0
"I'm fine; I'll wait with you," Zhao Guangcai replied. 0
"Alright then," Zhang Xiaoxiao said. 0
The two waited in the yard for over an hour until they finally saw the Fellow Villagers return. 0
As soon as they arrived, they began to complain about the Wang family. 0
"They've gone too far; they actually took the children away secretly," one Aunt said angrily. 0
"Exactly! They claimed they just wanted to see the kids—who would believe that?" another Aunt chimed in. 0
"They did it on purpose," an older brother said. 0
"Sister Chen is really unfortunate," one Aunt sighed. 0
