In a dilapidated alley, more than ten young men with yellow hair were beating up a young man with shoulder-length hair and a sturdy build. Although the young man was unarmed, he moved swiftly, leaping and dodging, throwing punches and sweeping kicks. The yellow-haired attackers screamed as they were knocked down one after another. However, outnumbered and without any weapons, the young man soon felt the steel pipes strike his back, tearing several holes in his shirt. If he were an ordinary person, he would have already collapsed on the ground.
Seeing that the situation was very unfavorable for him, the young man suddenly let out a long howl. He pushed off the ground with his left foot and stepped onto the brick wall of the alley with his right foot, running up the wall for two steps before diving down. His fists struck like lightning, and two of the yellow-haired men facing him had no time to react before they were knocked to the ground. With a gap opened in their encirclement, he dashed out like a tiger descending from a mountain, disappearing in an instant. This scene was like something out of a movie.
In this world, doing good deeds to save others could lead to being hunted down. Hiding behind a large tree, the young man endured the pain in his back and couldn't help but recall what had happened two days ago.
Under the scorching sun, A City’s pedestrian street was bustling with people. Fashionable girls held various umbrellas like beautiful flowers swaying in the street, while strong men simply shaded their foreheads with their hands.
At that moment, on the steps leading to the riverside, there was suddenly a gasp from the crowd as they parted to either side. An elderly man tumbled down the steps and landed motionless on the concrete floor at the bottom. His white hair and the foam coming from his mouth drew everyone's attention.
People only watched from a distance, but no one dared to step forward.
Suddenly, a little girl's voice rang out: "Mommy, that grandpa is hurt! Let's go help him!"
"Mind your own business! Who knows if he's faking it? If he blames us, we’ll be in trouble," replied a woman's voice.
This mother-daughter exchange spread through the crowd like a plague, causing onlookers to vanish without a trace. The old man lay on the scorching ground, possibly at death's door, but this situation felt rather awkward.
At this critical moment of life and death, a burly young man strode over. His eyes were bright and his steps light; his long hair nearly touched his shoulders and his simple attire seemed somewhat out of place in this city. The young man quickly stepped past the old man and thought to himself that it seemed like the old man's time had come.
For some reason, he suddenly took several steps back and rushed over to lift the old man up. He pressed his knee against the old man's head, which helped ease his breathing slightly.
The young man was somewhat startled; he noticed that not only was the old man foaming at the mouth and breathing weakly, but there was also blood oozing from the back of his head, staining his knee and shirt with red marks. As he desperately called for help, a kind citizen finally assisted him by dialing emergency services.
In an international metropolis where service facilities are top-notch, within just a few minutes, both police and ambulance arrived. The young man watched as the old man was lifted into an ambulance and finally breathed a sigh of relief. Just as he was about to leave, a police officer approached him and saluted: "Hello! I need to take your statement—your name and occupation."
"Last name Fei, first name Hu," the young man answered loudly. He was doing a good deed, not committing a crime, so there was no need to fear the police.
The officer glanced at the young man, perhaps hearing the surname Fei for the first time. Just as he was about to ask more about this Young Man named Fei Hu, a young nurse rushed over, grabbing Fei Hu and pulling him along. As she ran, she panted, "We can't reach the elderly person's family for now; you need to come with me to the hospital! Saving lives is our priority."
The ambulance blared its siren as it cut through the bustling city. Fei Hu glanced at his somewhat worn watch and thought that since he was doing a good deed, there was no way to back out now. He could have easily walked away, but when he caught sight of the elderly man's white hair lying on the ground, he felt as if he were looking at his grandfather, who had once relied on him. His legs betrayed him and took a step back.
Fortunately, Night Rose was working the night shift. Fei Hu leaned against the ambulance, and fatigue from his night shift quickly overtook him; he fell asleep.
Once they arrived at the hospital, Fei Hu was pulled by the young nurse to register and sign various forms. He even paid 1,000 yuan for the elderly man's hospital fees upfront. It pained him deeply; he had just received his paycheck and couldn't bear to spend a single cent. This payment might cause problems in his daily life.
After receiving treatment, the elderly man quickly regained consciousness. Just as the nurse was about to change his clothes, the old man suddenly grabbed Fei Hu's hand and tremblingly pressed a pill into it while nodding weakly at him. Fei Hu wasn't foolish; he understood that the old man wanted him to keep this pill safe.
Under the old man's watchful gaze, Fei Hu tucked the pill into his pocket. Just as he finished, the door to the ward burst open, and four or five colorful-haired thugs rushed in. One of them pointed at Fei Hu and said, "That's him! Look at him covered in blood; our boss must have been hurt by him!"
What chaos! But before Fei Hu could explain himself, these thugs charged at him and attacked with lethal intent. Fortunately, Fei Hu was skilled; if it had been someone else, they would have already been knocked down. The nurses in the room were terrified and hid in a corner without daring to speak. Fei Hu realized that these people had no intention of letting him explain; they seemed intent on silencing him.
After taking a few hits, Fei Hu began to fight back. These punks were no match for him; with one punch each, two of them fell to the ground without any chance to retaliate. He kicked another one away while the remaining two stood frozen in shock. Seizing this opportunity, Fei Hu dashed out of the ward; clearly, this wasn't a place for reason—fleeing was his best option.
As soon as he exited the ward, he found himself facing twenty or so people in the corridor; they appeared to be part of the same group. Without hesitation, Fei Hu turned and ran as they pursued closely behind him. When he reached the stairwell and looked down, he saw that more people were waiting for him below. With no other choice, Fei Hu sprinted up to the third floor—running was his specialty.
It seemed impossible to escape through the stairs now; his immediate priority was to hide. Thinking quickly, Fei Hu glanced around and noticed an open changing room door. Without hesitation, he rushed inside. Fortunately, although the door was ajar, there was no one inside. The room was filled with nurse uniforms; Fei Hu quickly closed the door behind him and hid behind a rack of clothes. This position was excellent; from here he could see anyone entering while remaining hidden behind several nurse outfits.
"You all go ahead; I'll change and join you shortly," a pleasant voice said as a beautiful woman pushed open the door and walked in, locking it behind her.
Fei Hu's eyes lit up involuntarily. Although there were many beautiful women at KTV who passed by daily under his watchful eyes, this type was rare—she appeared to be in her late twenties or early thirties with a tall figure and long hair cascading down her shoulders. Her lightly made-up face featured well-defined features and alluring red lips that glimmered enticingly.
Fei Hu's eyes involuntarily looked down. Beneath the floral suspender dress, her skin was as white as snow, especially her high and firm breasts, a waist that seemed too delicate to grasp, and her round, perky backside made Fei Hu's lower body shamelessly pitch a tent.
The woman walked around the room, seemingly on purpose for Fei Hu to see. Then she placed her small bag on a chair against the wall and quickly pulled down her suspender dress. My goodness! Fei Hu's eyes nearly popped out; the two treasures on her chest swayed with her movements, giving the impression that they wanted to break free from the constraints of her bra and come out for a stroll. What made Fei Hu's blood rush even more was the woman's palm-sized pink panties, which almost made him faint.
The woman walked directly towards Fei Hu's position. Did she notice me? Fei Hu's heart raced. The woman reached out and removed all the clothes in front of him. To his surprise, a big man stood behind the clothes rack. The woman's face turned pale with fear, and instinctively, she crossed her arms over her chest. Just as she opened her mouth to scream, Fei Hu's large hand covered her mouth.
The woman recoiled, and Fei Hu quickly wrapped his other arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace. Due to his excessive force, he held her tightly, feeling the softness of her body and the smoothness of her skin at the waist. The woman shook her head in fear, making muffled sounds.
To dispel any misunderstanding as quickly as possible, Fei Hu immediately gave up the chance to enjoy the beauty before him and said clearly, "Don't be afraid; I'm not a bad person. I'm being chased, so I hid here. None of this was intentional. I'll let you go; please don't scream, okay?"
Hearing Fei Hu's words, the fear in the woman's eyes diminished slightly as she nodded hurriedly.
Only then did Fei Hu release his hand from covering her mouth. The woman kept her promise and did not scream again; however, her face had turned even paler, clearly still frightened from earlier. Fei Hu glanced at her chest in a panic and said, "You can go!"
"How can I leave?" The woman shot him an annoyed look.
It was only then that Fei Hu realized he hadn't released his hand from around her waist and that his lower body was pressing against her soft abdomen—he nearly lost control. His face flushed red as he quickly let go.
Being a doctor made this woman different; she had seen it all. When she realized that Fei Hu truly meant no harm, she graciously adjusted her bra and put on a nurse's uniform in just a couple of moves.
At that moment, a series of intense knocks echoed through the room.
