The city streets are quiet and peaceful under the cover of night. The footsteps of Gu Chenyu and Su Jinyu are particularly clear in this tranquility. Their shadows stretch long under the orange streetlights, weaving a harmonious pattern. Su Jinyu leans lightly on Gu Chenyu's shoulder, her face beaming with a smile and her eyes lively and spirited.
"Chenyu, how about we go fishing by the lake this weekend?" Su Jinyu's voice carries a hint of playfulness, as if she can already see the beautiful scenery of the lake in her eyes.
Gu Chenyu He was slightly taken aback, a rare look of surprise appearing on his face. As someone who was often buried in work, he rarely had time to enjoy such leisure activities. His voice remained calm, but with approval: "Fishing? I remember the last time I went fishing was when I was a child. It does sound nice."

Her words were full of humor and vitality. Gu Chenyu sat quietly beside her, listening to Su Jinyu's words. Occasionally, he would respond, and though his words were few, they always hit the essence of the topic, making Su Jinyu unable to help bursting into laughter.
"I feel that fishing is like practicing meditation, requiring patience and tranquility," Su Jinyu suddenly said.
Gu Chenyu smiled slightly and replied, "Indeed. Fishing teaches people to wait and appreciate the beauty of tranquility. However, I look forward more to the moment of catching the fish."
Su Jinyu laughed heartily and said, "You better work hard, or else I'll laugh at you for not catching any fish."
The leisurely afternoon passed slowly. Suddenly, Su Jinyu's fishing rod moved, and she exclaimed excitedly, "Look, I've caught a fish!"
Gu Chenyu immediately walked over to help. His movements were skilled and precise, and he quickly pulled the small fish gently out of the water. Su Jinyu jumped up excitedly, clapping her hands and laughing, "Great! We finally caught a fish!"
Gu Chenyu watched her happy expression and felt content. He said, "This is all thanks to you."
Later, they decided to release the small fish back into the lake. Gu Chenyu gently placed the fish into the water, while Su Jinyu clapped and cheered on the side. Watching the fish swim away leisurely, both of them felt peaceful and joyful in their hearts.
As the sun set, when they finished packing up their fishing gear and were preparing to leave, the clouds in the sky were dyed golden red by the setting sun, casting a brilliant color on the surface of the lake. Su Jinyu took out her phone, wanting to capture this wonderful sight. While taking photos, she said, "Chenyu, such a beautiful scenery, we can't just leave without capturing it!"
Gu Chenyu stood aside, with a gentle look in his eyes, but said, "You, even want to record such trivial matters, always showing off."
Su Jinyu responded playfully, "Oh, this is called sharing the joy of life. How would you, with your wooden head, understand?" Then she burst into laughter.

As they were about to leave, a group of teenagers rode by on bicycles. One of them accidentally bumped into the fishing bucket next to Su Jinyu, scattering its contents.
Su Jinyu hurriedly bent down to pick up the items, while Gu Chenyu coldly watched the group of teenagers. A hint of displeasure was evident in his eyes: "How can you ride so carelessly? Can't you be more careful?"
The teenagers stopped in their tracks, some of them apologizing awkwardly: "Sorry, we didn't notice."
Su Jinyu stood up, smiled and shook her head, saying, "It's okay, it's nothing serious, just be more careful, everyone."
Gu Chenyu watched Su Jinyu always being so quick to forgive, and couldn't help but feel a touch of emotion in his heart. He walked over to help her pick up the scattered items, and said lightly, "Be more careful next time to avoid accidents."
After packing up their fishing gear, Gu Chenyu and Su Jinyu slowly walked away from the lake. The lingering glow of the sunset cast their shadows long on the soft grass. Su Jinyu walked briskly, her face beaming with satisfaction and joy as she talked about their fishing experience today.
"Chenyu, today was really fun! Even though we only caught a few small fish, the relaxing feeling was really great!" Su Jinyu's voice was full of energy and excitement.
Gu Chenyu Quietly walking beside her, his expression calm, but his eyes revealed a hint of tenderness. His words were still short and direct: "Yes, this is indeed a good experience. I haven't relaxed like this in a long time."
Su Jinyu Turning to look at him, her eyes twinkling mischievously: "Hey, you seem to be enjoying it! I thought you would find this kind of leisure activity boring."
Gu Chenyu smiled slightly, a rare expression on his usually stern face. "Do you think I only like to work? In fact, I occasionally enjoy this simple happiness too."
Su Jinyu laughed heartily and quickly walked to Gu Chenyu's front, turning back to him and saying, "Next time, we can do some other activities, like hiking or cycling. I want to show you that there are many pleasures in life!"
Gu Chenyu couldn't help but feel warm as he watched the energetic figure of Su Jinyu. Being with Su Jinyu would bring more color and surprises to his life.
On the way home, Su Jinyu kept talking non-stop, while Gu Chenyu listened quietly, feeling grateful in his heart for the simple and pure happiness she brought to him.
After returning home, preparing dinner seemed to have become a daily ritual, filled with the essence of life. Su Jinyu was busy in the kitchen, her movements swift and skilled, showing her familiarity with cooking. Gu Chenyu played the role of her assistant, and although his vegetable cutting was not as smooth as Su Jinyu's, each slice was precise and meticulous, revealing his seriousness in handling tasks.
During dinner, the two sat around the table, savoring the delicious meal prepared by Su Jinyu. While eating, she casually talked about the amusing events by the lake that day, saying, "Chenyu, your expression when you caught the fish today was so funny, I almost couldn't help bursting into laughter."
