Zhang Xiaoxiao and Zhao Guangcai were stopped by a few young people while waiting for someone from the village to pick them up.
"Do you need something?" Zhang Xiaoxiao frowned and asked.
"Zhang Xiaoxiao, are you really a university student?" the leading young man questioned.
"When did I say I was a university student?" Zhang Xiaoxiao raised an eyebrow.
"You clearly said that in the bookstore," the young man challenged.
"I said I graduated from university last year," Zhang Xiaoxiao corrected him.
"What!" The young man was shocked.
"Do you have any questions?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked impatiently.
"Which school did you attend?" the young man probed.
"Huaqing University," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied calmly.
"Huaqing University?" The group of young people was taken aback.
"What’s wrong?" Zhang Xiaoxiao squinted her eyes.
"Nothing, nothing," they quickly shook their heads.
"Do you have any more questions?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked evenly.
The young people exchanged glances and then shook their heads again.
"Since there are no more questions, we will be leaving now," Zhang Xiaoxiao smiled.
"Oh, okay," the young people responded, still in a daze.
Zhang Xiaoxiao took Zhao Guangcai's hand and turned to walk towards the village entrance.
"Zhang Xiaoxiao, your school must be fake, right?" one of the young men suddenly shouted.
"What do you think?" Zhang Xiaoxiao stopped and turned back to retort.
"I... I think..." the young man stammered.
"If you think it is, then it is; if you think it isn't, then it isn't," Zhang Xiaoxiao interrupted him.
"You..." The young man was left speechless.
"Let's go," Zhang Xiaoxiao said softly.
"Mm," Zhao Guangcai replied.
The two walked hand in hand, slowly moving forward as the sunset stretched their shadows long and thin.
"Boss, what should we do now?" one of the young men asked.
"First, find out her background," the leader replied coldly.
"Understood," the young man said respectfully.

When Zhang Xiaoxiao and Zhao Guangcai reached the village entrance, no one from the village had arrived yet.
"Why haven't they come yet?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked anxiously.
"Just wait a bit longer," Zhao Guangcai comforted.
"Okay," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied helplessly.
After another ten minutes, the villagers slowly arrived with their ox cart.
"Sorry for being late," the driver, a Fellow Villager, apologized.
"It's fine, we just got here too," Zhang Xiaoxiao said politely.
"That's good to hear," the Fellow Villager sighed in relief.
"Let's get on the cart," Zhao Guangcai suggested.
"Sure," Zhang Xiaoxiao agreed obediently.
The two of them climbed onto the ox cart, and the villagers cracked their whips as the cart slowly moved forward.
"The air here is really nice," Zhang Xiaoxiao remarked.
"If you like it, we can live here from now on," Zhao Guangcai said indulgently.
"Really?" Zhang Xiaoxiao asked in surprise.
"Of course it's true," Zhao Guangcai replied gently.
"That's great!" Zhang Xiaoxiao exclaimed excitedly.
"Are you really that happy?" Zhao Guangcai chuckled.
"Of course! I love this kind of leisurely life," Zhang Xiaoxiao said with anticipation.
"Then we'll live this way from now on," Zhao Guangcai promised.
"Guangcai, you're so good to me," Zhang Xiaoxiao said as she nestled into Zhao Guangcai's embrace.
"You are my Wife; if I don't treat you well, who else should I treat well?" Zhao Guangcai said affectionately.
The Fellow Villager driving the cart overheard their conversation and couldn't help but laugh.
"You two are really in love," the Fellow Villager said enviously.
"Sir, you're also very happy," Zhang Xiaoxiao replied politely.
"Hahaha, of course! My wife is very virtuous," the Fellow Villager boasted proudly.
"You are really lucky," Zhang Xiaoxiao smiled.
"You two are also very lucky to have found each other," the Fellow Villager remarked thoughtfully.
"Yes, we are both very lucky," Zhang Xiaoxiao said sweetly.
The ox cart swayed gently as Zhang Xiaoxiao leaned against Zhao Guangcai and gradually fell asleep.
Zhao Guangcai looked at Zhang Xiaoxiao's sleeping face and smiled happily.
"You really love your Wife, don't you?" the Fellow Villager asked with a smile.
"Yes," Zhao Guangcai replied softly.
"You two are a perfect match," the Fellow Villager said sincerely.
"Thank you," Zhao Guangcai expressed gratefully.
"No need to be polite," the Fellow Villager said generously.
Zhao Guangcai lowered his head and placed a kiss on Zhang Xiaoxiao's forehead.
"Young people these days are really open-minded," the Fellow Villager teased.
"I just want to tell her how much I love her," Zhao Guangcai said earnestly.
"Hahaha, you youngsters just love to talk about feelings and love," the Fellow Villager laughed heartily.
"I believe love should be expressed," Zhao Guangcai insisted.
"Well said," the Fellow Villager agreed.
"So, do you often say such things to Aunt?" Zhao Guangcai asked curiously.
"Of course! I tell her every day how much I love her," the Fellow Villager said proudly.
"Aunt must be very happy," Zhao Guangcai affirmed.
"Absolutely, she is my Wife," the Fellow Villager declared with pride.
Hearing the Fellow Villager's words, Zhao Guangcai showed an envious expression on his face.
"You and your Wife will be happy too," the Fellow Villager encouraged.
"Yes, we will definitely be happy," Zhao Guangcai replied firmly.
The two chatted for a while longer until the ox cart came to a stop.
"We've arrived," the Fellow Villager reminded them.
"Wife, wake up, we're home," Zhao Guangcai called softly.
"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao responded drowsily before sitting up straight.
"We're in the village now," Zhao Guangcai said gently.
"Oh," Zhang Xiaoxiao opened her eyes.
"Get off the cart quickly," the Fellow Villager urged.
"Thank you for today, sir," Zhang Xiaoxiao said politely.
"You're welcome, hurry home now," the Fellow Villager replied cheerfully.
"Mm," Zhang Xiaoxiao nodded obediently.
Zhao Guangcai helped Zhang Xiaoxiao down from the ox cart, and the two walked in the direction of their home.
