City A train station entrance
At the square of the train station, the crowd surged, and the sound of rolling luggage wheels intertwined with the hustle and bustle of the crowd. People's faces carried various expressions, some showing the reluctance of farewell, and others the joy of reunion. Jian Chen and Xu Yi stood here, once again facing separation.
Xu Yi looked up at Jian Chen with deep tenderness and attachment in her eyes. She knew that this parting was different from the previous brief separations, because the upcoming college entrance examination would be a major turning point in their lives, and it also meant that they would face more severe challenges and tests in the time to come.
Jian Chen gently held Xu Yi's hand and softly said, "I have to go." His voice was filled with reluctance, but he also understood that this was an important moment in Xu Yi's life, and he had to give her enough support and encouragement.
Xu Yi nodded gently, her voice trembling slightly, "Mm." She knew that Jian Chen's departure was not a farewell, but rather to allow her to better face the challenges of the future. Jian Chen gently embraced Xu Yi, and their heartbeats seemed to synchronize in this moment. He whispered softly in her ear, "Xiao Yi, wait for me."
Xu Yi nestled in Jian Chen's arms, feeling his warmth and determination. Tears began to swirl in her eyes, but she tried hard not to let them fall. She responded softly, "Mm."
Jian Chen smiled and nodded, gently kissing Xu Yi's forehead.
The train whistle sounded again, reminding them that the moment of parting had arrived. Jian Chen released the embrace and looked deeply into Xu Yi's eyes: "I'm leaving. Your ride is here. Send me a message when you get home."
Xu Yi nodded, wiped away the tears from the corner of her eyes, and forced a strong smile: "Okay, send me a message when you get home too."
Jian Chen turned and walked towards the train. He knew he couldn't look back, because doing so would make it even harder for him to leave. Meanwhile, Xu Yi stood in place, watching the train gradually move farther away.
As the train finally disappeared from sight, Xu Yi felt a hollow in her heart. She turned and walked towards the taxi she had called. Along the way, she looked at the scenery they had shared over the past few days, feeling the beauty that belonged only to them.
Back at home, Xu Yi sat on the sofa and sent a message to Jian Chen: "I've safely arrived home, so don't worry." Then, she took a deep breath and focused on getting back into study mode.
On the other side of the train, Jian Chen received a message from Xu Yi, and a warm feeling surged in his heart. He knew that no matter where he went, Xu Yi's heart was closely connected to his. He replied with a message: "Okay, rest well." Then he put away his phone and started looking through the beautiful memories in their shared photo album.
