At this moment, Rek quickly took out another black water balloon from his bag and threw it towards Alice, who was half a meter away. 0

Alice was lost in thought about the War God System Feather and forgot to dodge Rek's sudden attack. The water balloon hit her on the head. 0

"Ouch!" Alice exclaimed, realizing that when the water balloon burst, a foul-smelling blood-like liquid splattered all over her. Her hair was covered in the sticky, stinky blood, and the cleanliness-loving Alice glared fiercely at Rek. 0

Suddenly, Alice noticed that the War God System Feather was hovering near Rek's stomach and began to hesitate. 0

"What the hell did you throw at me? It's so disgusting!" 0

"Aren't you also trying to get rid of the War God System Feather's parasitism? For some reason, the War God System Feather instinctively hates Dragon Blood. The water balloon contained the blood of a low-level earth dragon from Dark Space. Although the dragon blood content is low, it seems to have had some effect," Rek replied. 0

"That's useless. I tried that before. The War God System Feather just instinctively rejects Dragon Blood. I once escaped to a dragon's lair in Dark Space, but in the end, I was still parasitized by the War God System Feather. I fought against more than ten evil dragons for three days, risking my life," Alice said irritably. 0

As if to prove Alice's words, the white feather of the War God System that was stuck in Rek's stomach began to slowly move outward, about to leave Rek's body, with its tip still pointing towards Alice. 0

"You forced my hand! War God System Feather, I want to become a war god, to be the strongest! I want to feast during the apocalypse and never again live in fear every day just to escape being hunted by Alien Species!" Rek shouted with a ferocious expression. 0

Rek quickly got up from the ground and took out a bottle of Blue Liquid from his backpack. 0

"High-Energy Shockwave Liquid Bomb!" Alice cried out in terror upon seeing what Rek was holding. 0

"You've gone mad, you lunatic! You want to die, but I don't! Put that down quickly! How could you run through the woods with that thing in your bag? You were just lying on the ground! Aren't you afraid of breaking the bottle and triggering the bomb while running? This bomb has enough power to blow up a small farm!" Alice shouted at Rek. 0

At this moment, Alice felt like killing Rek. She knew there was no point in running now; this high-energy liquid bomb was used by some fanatical members of the Rebel Armed Forces during human suicide attacks. Its power was astonishing—just one small bottle could destroy an entire street. 0

"War God System Feather, I am your best choice. I know you possess intelligence, so hurry and choose to parasitize me! I will become a war god. If you choose to parasitize Alice instead, I will detonate this liquid bomb. 0

At this close distance, both Alice and I will be blown to bits. Although you probably won't be destroyed, since you've just arrived in this timeline and haven't yet parasitized anyone, if your chosen host dies, you'll expend a lot of energy finding a new one. Plus, being severely injured will continue to drain your energy. 0

Choose me quickly! I'm actually a great candidate for a war god; I just haven't trained my body. However, my combat experience and reaction time are strong! I have many advantages. In short, if you don't choose me, both Alice and I will die together. Choosing me gives you the chance to cultivate a war god. Even if I die in the future, you can still parasitize Alice." Rek sneered as he spoke to the War God System Feather lodged in his abdomen. 0

Alice, hearing Rek's words, felt as if her entire world had been turned upside down. How could there be someone who dared to threaten the War God System Feather? Rek was truly an oddity; she had the strange feeling that perhaps Rek becoming the evil War God System Feather's host would be a perfect match for a freak and a demon. 0

In the next moment, Alice confirmed that Rek had made the right choice; the War God System Feather slowly retracted into Rek's abdomen. Then Rek began to convulse all over. 0

"It actually worked! We need to run now, Rek. If you want to survive, I'll see you in Dark Space." Seeing Rek's current state made Alice realize that the War God System had begun its initial parasitization of him. She needed to get away from Rek quickly; otherwise, she would be killed by the berserk state of Rek under the protection mechanism of the War God System. 0

Alice quickly turned and ran away at high speed, disappearing deep into the woods. 0

At that moment, a cold voice echoed in Rek's mind: "Parasitizing intelligent species; initiating parasitization mode. Human Rek, your determination to become a war god is commendable, granting you the honor of becoming this System's host. The War God System is the most powerful individual combat support system in the universe, existing solely to cultivate the strongest war gods. The glory of a war god surpasses all; they are invincible. Scanning nearby area... No dangerous organisms detected; initiating deep fusion of War God System parasitization." 0

Rek felt excruciating pain coursing through his body, a pain that penetrated to his very bones, causing him to lose consciousness. 0

Rek's consciousness appeared in his own sea of awareness—a pitch-black graveyard filled with countless gravestones as far as he could see. In front of him was a large pit dug deep enough to hold a person's body, with the head of a middle-aged man floating above it. 0

“Host, this is your consciousness sea after the integration with the War God System. The War God System has now deeply fused with you. You only have two paths to choose from: either become a War God or die. Your grave has already been dug! Strive on, young man!” The floating head spoke in a chilling voice to Rek. 0

Fortunately, Rek had encountered various mutated forms from Dark Space in his previous life, so he was not intimidated by the flashy appearance of the War God System. 0

“War God System, where did you come from? Have you ever successfully cultivated a War God before?” Rek asked the head in front of him. This question had not been mentioned in the records of the Star Alliance Federation even in his previous life; it remained a mystery. 0

“Data missing, whether a War God has been cultivated before is unknown. However, the tombstones you see now are all from my previous Hosts who failed in cultivation!” The head floating in the air calmly replied to Rek. 0

Looking at the vast, boundless graveyard, Rek thought to himself that no wonder Alice wanted to abandon her identity as a War God System Host; the mortality rate was too high. 0

“Then quickly activate my powers! Give me some powerful Abilities and bloodlines! Or provide me with some cutting-edge weapons! Let me become a War God!” After stabilizing his fragile mind, Rek spoke to the floating head. 0

“The War God System exists to cultivate War Gods; War Gods are not created out of thin air. They must undergo countless life-and-death trials, breaking through layers of their potential barriers to become the strongest existence—” The head's cold voice addressed Rek. 0

“Say something practical!” Rek responded. 0
