Every time Fengyin comes down the mountain, she visits Yue Lai Inn to see the kind Landlady. Two years ago, when Landlady had a difficult childbirth, it was just in time that Fengyin was there to ensure both mother and child were safe. Since then, even the usually critical mother-in-law, who often disapproved of her daughter-in-law's kindness towards others, has changed her mind. Doing good deeds benefits future generations. Each time Fengyin descends, she checks on Landlady, feeling that it's good to help her with her health. People around say that Landlady seems to be getting younger. 0

As Fengyin walked into Yue Lai Inn, the business had been thriving more and more over the years. Upon seeing the figure in white enter, Landlady nudged her chubby son, saying, "Sister Yin is here, Little Tiger." 0

"Sister Yin," the little chubby boy waved his plump hand and walked over to her, while Hehe stared blankly at Little Tiger. 0

"Little Tiger," Fengyin took Little Tiger's hand and walked over to Landlady. 0

"Lin Jie, how have you been lately?" Zhou Lin is Landlady's maiden name; after marriage, everyone calls her Mrs. Zhou, but only Fengyin calls her Lin Jie. That bell-like voice makes her feel that her name is beautiful. 0

"Nothing much, just missing you," Landlady smiled, recalling their first meeting years ago and couldn't help teasing, "You've grown so tall! You were just a tiny thing back then." 0

"Lin Jie, there you go again. Come on, give me your hand." 0

Landlady extended her hand, and the conversation flowed easily. "Does your master and grandfather not feed you well? Why are you still so thin?" 0

Fengyin blushed. "I eat quite a lot." She really does eat a lot. 0

"I calculated the days knowing you would come, so I prepared some food for you in advance. It's all nourishing; you can't help but gain weight!" The world outside isn't like the martial world; those in the martial world are all trained fighters—who has time for excess fat? So Landlady hopes that Fengyin can gain a bit of weight. 0

"Well, Lin Jie, you're expecting again." 0

"Really?" Landlady was surprised and delighted. 0

"I've always wanted a daughter so I could dress her up beautifully." 0

"May your wish come true, Lin Jie." Fengyin smiled, wishing her mother were still around. She touched her chest where the coin once held tightly in her mother's palm rested. After learning needlework, the first thing she made was a Sachet, placing the coin inside. She never wore the Sachet outside but fastened it with a button on her chest. It was her unspoken love for her mother. 0

"Next time you come, I'll introduce you to some young men," said Landlady. Hearing this made Fengyin blush as she left with a smile; this trip had been the most comfortable for her—she felt so full that she didn't even want to move. 0

Not long after Fengyin left. 0

"Young Master, this inn is still here." 0

"Then we shall stay here." The young man spoke, dressed in white, like an otherworldly being, his garments fluttering as he laughed and chatted. Even the Landlady, with her years of experience in observing people, couldn't help but glance at him a few more times. 0

"Young Master, you came personally to oversee the construction of the villa for Madam's recovery. She will surely be delighted to know." 0

"Mother has worked hard." 0

"Young Master, if the Lingxiang Princess comes after us again this time, should we leave or stay?" 0

"Lin Ke, mind your tongue." 0

"Someone like our Young Master can only be matched by the Goddess of Misty Mountain." 0

"Little Tiger, look at that brother in white a bit more; you should grow up to be like him." 0

Little Tiger played with the drum given by Fengyin, and upon hearing his mother's words, he looked up, drooling all over the ground. 0

Hibiscus smiled gently at the chubby child, causing the world to dim in comparison. 0

"Hurry up and eat. After you finish, I'll go check on the construction site for the villa. You go to the county office and take care of that piece of land." 0

Once everything was bought, Fengyin returned with all the daily necessities and, as usual, stored them at Yue Lai Inn. She was just about to take Hehe out when the Landlady stopped her. 0

"Fengyin, a handsome young man just came by." 0

Fengyin nodded. "The daughter hasn't been born yet, and you're already anxious, Lin Jie." 0

The Landlady scoffed. "I'm just thinking of your future." 0

"Thank you, Lin Jie. I'm going to visit my mother now." 0

"Did you bring paper money and incense burner?" 0

"Let's go." 0

Fengyin took Hehe out of the city. It was the first time she followed her grandfather down the mountain since she went up at the age of ten. They searched for a long time before finding Mute Mother's grave. Now, Fengyin was familiar with the route, as natural as going home to find her mother. 0

She ran along the narrow path with Hehe, her white gauze dress fluttering in the wind, harmonizing beautifully with Hehe's black and white colors, clearly products of Misty Mountain. Few people knew that ordinary folks lived all around here. 0

"Hehe, hurry up." If it weren't for Hehe being by her side, she would have already used her lightness skill to fly over. 0

"Mom," seeing the standing stone and the unremarkable little mound, Fengyin immediately felt tears welling up in her eyes. She had grown up and understood things now; she was no longer that little girl who thought death was just like falling asleep. 0

In the setting sun, the girl in white lay beside the giant stone, her hand caressing the grass beneath her. Around her, peach blossoms had bloomed vibrantly, having been planted who knows when. As her gaze shifted, she appeared even more beautiful than the blossoms on the branches. Though lacking the fullness and luster of later blooms, her innocence made her even more charming. Hibiscus was far away, but his eyesight was excellent; this was the address he had chosen for his mother’s villa. Last year, he had ordered peach trees to be planted there, as they were his mother's favorite. He had once sat quietly by that giant stone, playing the flute. When the servants asked if they should move the stone while planting the peach trees, he saw it as a natural formation, like a loving mother cradling her child, so he left it untouched. He couldn't hear what she said, but he saw her affectionate gaze. That kind of look was captivating, making him unconsciously move closer. 0

"Mom, Grandpa is doing well now, and I am too. I miss you so much, Mom," Fengyin murmured repeatedly. Tears streamed down her face; her handkerchief had long been blown away by the wind and floated about. Hehe was chasing after it, seemingly enjoying this game of tag that was perfect for its weight loss. 0

"The master said there's nothing impossible in this world; even dead bones are nothing extraordinary. I agree. We can travel from one world to another; then what else is impossible? Perhaps one day I can bring you back to this world where you can talk and sing for me? Mom, I love you." 0

"Mom, I want to quietly sleep beside you." 0

He had come very close now; the sleeping girl remained unaware as he approached her side. She must have been sleeping too soundly. With a slight smile on her lips, she must be dreaming sweet and warm dreams right now. 0
