History becomes legend, legend becomes myth! Everything leaves traces for us to trace back to!
Throughout history, there are many myths and legends from all over the world. In the West, there are stories of vampires. They have fair skin, handsome features, and a certain grace, but they fear sunlight and silver weapons. They usually live in dark ancient castles, hiding during the day and coming out at night, moving swiftly and feeding on human blood. In Chinese folklore, there are also stories of zombies, dressed in ancient-style clothing, with exposed fangs, fierce faces, and unmatched strength.
Actually, the two are the same kind of creature! Like humanity, they are also distributed all over the world, with differences in skin color and facial features.
This race resembles humanity. Or rather, they are a branch of humanity. So they have always mingled in humanity society. They gain strength by consuming the blood of living creatures, and as a result, they possess physical abilities far beyond those of humanity.
In their eyes, humanity is no different from other creatures on Earth and, to some extent, all are their food.
Because they feed on blood, humanity calls them vampires. They refer to themselves as the bloodline.

For thousands of years, governments have had secret organizations, secretly training forces to combat these beings. However, due to the enormous gap in physical abilities, humanity has always suffered heavy losses. Fortunately, although individual members of the bloodline are powerful, their low reproductive capacity means that their numbers are far fewer than humanity, preventing them from achieving dominance over humanity.
However, the unfavorable situation for humanity underwent a significant change over a thousand years ago. At that time, a great sage in ancient China, aware of the harm caused by the bloodline, traveled the world, studied ancient texts, and after years of hardship, finally guided the long-accumulated energy within the human body.

These five families became increasingly renowned in the land of Huaxia. Descendants gradually only knew about the five families, but not the original sage.
In ancient times, people believed that those who knew about the deeds of these five individuals thought that they were chosen by the heavens to save the world from water and fire. Therefore, they referred to these five individuals as the "The Chosen Five" and their families as "The Five Chosen Ones".
The five, although powerful, do not interfere with the change of dynasties. Throughout the ages, the rulers have chosen to cooperate with The Five Chosen Ones to jointly combat the bloodline. Later, people referred to the power used by The Five Chosen Ones as true energy.
The descendants of the Five Great Families, those with exceptional aptitude, are taught the methods of cultivating true energy from a young age. Upon reaching adulthood, they will join the battle against the bloodline and rapidly grow through the baptism of combat.
After a thousand years, the greatest enemy of the bloodline is The Five Chosen Ones, and vice versa!

Several years ago, the descendants of the Zhou family from the Five Great Families met a female vampire from the Vegetarian Clan named Yiyun during their adventures outside. They developed feelings for each other and decided to be together. This, of course, sparked strong opposition from both families.
However, both of them, or rather, one human and one vampire, were free-spirited individuals. After some discussion, they decided to elope, staging one of the most dramatic and sensational scenes in the history of drama and literature.
